Hey guys, I know PixlBit 3.0 has been something I've talked about for a very long time. It's been something I've made plans for, thought about for countless hours, but never could find the time or energy to really tackle the project. But lately, that's changed - I jumped in full force and I've been making some great progress. To help keep me accountable I figured it'd be great to share some screenshots with you guys and answer questions on stuff you may be curious about.
Needless to say, it's probably going to be a work-in-progress for a bit, but I've already done a lot of work and have all of the old article, blog and comments rendering in the new site. Check out an article in the new site, in desktop and mobile, as well as the comments section!
Oh sweeeeet! Thanks Nick! It looks great! I've been so wanting a mobile version so I can respond to comments more quickly. Also, will the new site have HTTPS because it's been blocked at one of my county's libaries because of that? I do my blogging on libraries computers these days.
It will be! The server PB currently runs on is so old, I've been stuck in a weird spot and haven't been able to do straightforward stuff like that. Thankfully I'm shifting the whole thing to the cloud, so https is simple. Bonus is the site should stay running all the time after the move, since it's not dependent on my power staying on.
