Namco Bandai announced that the free Tekken 6 update will be available on November 26 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The update primarily addresses issues found in the online component of the game.
For the online portion, you will now be able to set priorities when searching for ranked online matches. You can also cancel matches before they begin if you don't like the signal strength of your opponent.
The update will minimize latency by reducing the bandwidth load on the host console. During a match you will also see a signal strength bar which will accurately display the connection quality during the match.
As a minor fix, the patch will also improve the responsiveness of the button and command inputs.
Namco Bandai also announced that there will be another update for Tekken 6 which will include an online co-operative campaign mode. The next update will be available this winter.
