I said, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?! Boy, I sure hope so, because I've got some video game tracks that will melt your face off! I'll admit that I'm relatively new to rock music, as I was raised on the music of the '40s, '50s, and '60s, but in recent years I've really learned to rock out. So I wanted to share some of that love to you, the listeners. Unfortunately, I couldn't fill a brandy glass with nothing but brown M&Ms, so Ozzy didn't go on. Sorry about that. Oh, and here's that amazing music video by Tomoyasu Hotei. Enjoy!
THIS WEEK'S MUSIC:
00:04 Final Fantasy X- Otherworld
05:30 Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (MS DOS)- Ken
08:43 Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance- It Has to be This Way
14:37 Chrono Cross- Magical Dreamers
18:48 UmJammer Lammy- Fright Flight
23:22 Onimusha 2- Russian Roulette
28:05 Alan Wake- Children of the Elder God
32:55 Gitaroo Man- Overpass
34:42 Gitaroo Man- The Legendary Theme (Album version)
I generally prefer instrumental over vocal, so I tended to like those tracks more. Good stuff all around though. I thought the Russian Roulette song was alright the first time I heard it (never seen Kill Bill, sorry) but I liked it more the second time when I watched the music video.
