It's an all-vocal episode of Digital Mystery Tour this week! Julian brings you seven songs composed and performed exclusively for video games. From the burning spirit of some special rangers to the sour grapes of an evil AI and an opera that will take your breath away, this collection of music really shows the incredible range that can be found in video games. Enjoy, and come back next week when we kick off Battle Themes month. You won't want to miss it!
THIS WEEK'S MUSIC:
00:00 Burning Rangers- Angels With Burning Hearts
05:19 Silent Hill 3- Letters From the Lost Days
09:48 Warioware Touched!- Ashley's Song
12:40 Alan Wake- The Poet and the Muse
17:35 Portal- Still Alive
21:37 Final Fantasy VI- Aria di Mezzo Carattere
28:30 Double Dragon Neon- Dared to Dream

Id like to give a mention to Calling to the Night from mgs portable ops. Loved that song...
No Sonic Boom? Come on!
Pfft! Like I play Sonic the Hedgehog.
Battle Themes Month? Awesome!
On the flip side, the Phantom of the Opera's theme music would actually work well in a video game. Just saw the production on Broadway last week, and they totally gave it a techno undertone. It was awesome.
I have something in the works that you're going to love then.
Also, Julian, This is my favorite DMT you've done so far. Love it.
Can't wait.
I first heard "Still Alive" after playing through Portal in a single sitting at a friend's house when I was in college. I finished the game at 3AM and nearly fell off the sofa laughing. Such a great song
I played a lot of WareWare: Touched as well but I had completely forgotten about Ashley's song. It has such a great kooky old feel to it. Glad you included it.
