Nintendo has announced that they will be showing a 3DS focused edition of Nintendo Direct tomorrow morning at 10am EST (7am PST).
While nothing is known concerning what, if anything, will be announced tomorrow, we do still encourage wild speculation in the comments section. Could we see a western release announcement for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy? Could the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VII be coming stateside? Perhaps something completely new and previously unheard of? We’ll find out tomorrow.
On a separate note, this Nintendo Direct also coincides with the next release in the Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign, Kirby’s Adventure (NES). The campaign’s previous title, Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (NES) will be available through the day before it is pulled down on the 18th (Thursday). Other than that, I have nothing else to speculate on game-wise.
I heard that they might announce the Majora's Mask remake for the 3DS, while I'd rather have them make a new Zelda, I'd take that too. Zelda is Zelda afterall. Just hope they announce new games and not just announce announcements of announced games.
Holy shit, Earthbound is finally coming to Virtual Console. Maybe that damn cart will finally come down in price...
Double holy shit - a sequel to A Link to the Past. Not sure how I feel about that entirely yet, but I'm definitely excited. Probably more nervous that they're going to mess it up with gimmicky nonsense.
Did they name the system it will be for? ALTTP is my favorite zelda, and I would love to play a sequel to it on my Wii U.But I don't have a 3DS and not sure if I want to buy one (well of course I want one, but my recently bought vita already has a couple dozen games waiting in the backlog-mostly PS1 games that I never got around playing back in the day).
They did - it's going to be on the 3DS. However, it's not coming out until the holidays, so maybe you can convince someone to be totally awesome and get you a 3DS!
Well crap, that will probably be the game that convinces me to get a 3DS, the same way Persona 4 Golden was the game that made me cave and buy a vita. And similarly to the vita, I then won't be able to stop myself from buying all the other 3DS games that have caught my interest but I was able to resist due to the fact that I had nothing to play them on. Nintendo just came up with the perfect plan to take all my money.
Oh yeah, I'm excited about earthbound too. I've actually never played it but have read and heard many great things about it.
I'm REALLY excited to get my hands on a copy of Bravely Default!
New Link to the Past looks interesting though. I just hope it has the secret room like the SNES version did!
