Verizon FiOS customers will be able to start watching live cable TV with their Xbox 360s and an internet connection next month, according to the service provider. In order to have this service, Xbox 360 owners must have FiOS TV and FiOS Internet services, as well as be Xbox Live Gold members. A free app must be downloaded to the Xbox 360 for the service to work.
Verizon is also providing a bundle in order to bring new customers to this new service. The offer includes FiOS TV, FiOS 35/35 Mbps Internet and Verizon Phone services, as well as a year of Xbox Live Gold membership and a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, all for $89.99 a month.
The service will have 26 channels at launch but Verizon says they plan to have more added down the line. Here's a full listing of the channels that will be available:

This is actually awesome, I'm sad my area doesn't support FIOS anymore or I would gladly buy this.
This would be cool if I didn't already have a cable box hooked up to the same TV I play my Xbox on.
I'm just thinking of it as more of a forerunner of future products. I like the idea of having one device that would be able to handle all my gaming and cable/dvr
