Rather than provide an entirely redundant review on Puzzle Dimension's PSN release, I'll be using this space to explain any differences in its latest incarnation. For a full description of the game, you are encouraged to check out our original review.

As I expounded there, the game is a real treat. Stunning visuals, great music, inventive puzzles, and a low price tag made it one of the best PC purchases of last year. The same holds true here, as just about nothing has changed.

Unlike many other titles that are later ported to a new platform, Puzzle Dimension hasn't seen the inclusion of any PSN exclusive puzzles. Instead, developer Doctor Entertainment has added stereoscopic 3D graphics for those with access to a fancy new 3D TV. Unfortunately, without such a TV, I can't verify the quality of this addition, but given the great visual presentation otherwise, it surely looks great.

The only other difference: extended load times. The PS3 takes much, much longer to load levels than the Steam version on PC.

Of course, players can now use their PlayStation 3 controllers by default rather than a keyboard (unless you have a PC game pad). This is definitely a preferable way to play, as movement in the four cardinal directions, camera movement, and pushing a button to jump are actions perfectly suited for the controller.

If anything, players may be slightly put off by the rigid camera movement that's still in place. Given that every PS3 controller has a right analog stick, smooth and complete camera control should've replaced the button based system originally implemented for the PC. This isn't game breaking though and players are still well-equipped to see all action on the screen by way of the L1 and R1 buttons.

With the same pricing across all platforms, Puzzle Dimension is a great game to pick up no matter where you plan to play it.
