Hello all. A short update because I have an early day tomorrow. I apologize for not having kept up with the site. You see, something called "Skyrim" fell into my possession recently, and well... I got sort of lost in the woods for a little bit. And the mountains. And the ice floes. =)
Not really going to put up anything very coherant tonight. I did want to share a link to the commemorative Mega Man statue that will be released for sale.
Looks awesome. Too bad that it will only be for sale for a limited run at San Diego Comic Con. Still, it's nice that they haven't forgotten that this year is the anniversary of the original game (technically).
Oh, and the blog also says that Mega Man 4 will be available on the Nintendo e-Shop April 25th. Mega Man 5 will be available May 16. And Mega Man 6 sometime in June. This news makes me very happy, because I will have all the 8 bit originals on my 3DS XL and enjoy them wherever I go. Now, I would very much appreciate it if they did the same thing for MM 9&10. How awesome would that be? (plus the OST's will become available this summer)

I'm staying too damn frosty! It needs to warm up again so I can go for my run! But that e-Shop news sounds great, it would be awesome to have all the Mega Mans on the go, now for the X series...
Very true. I need it to hurry and warm up. Anyway, they're not releasing any SNES games on the e-Shop, just NES and Game Boy. I don't know why, since we know that the 3DS can already handle N64 games.
Skyrim will get you lost and forget what time it is be careful with that great game, and I am just going to have to get me a portabl system I keep saying no but everyone on this site is convincing me to get one lol.
Yeah, there's just so much to do and explore that it's easy to lose several hours. As for a portable, totally worth it.

I got my fiancèe to get me it for Easter, haha. It's 8GB drive with the Mega Man X Official Complete Works ebook, an Udon tribute ebook, some of the Archie comics that were released a year or two ago, the newest version of SFxMM (meh) and some wallpapers or something. I'm more excited for the cool USB drive than anything, I think, haha.

i feel like i remember reading something about a brand new mega man game coming. It was just a blurb, and it was around the time that the ducktales remake was announced.
Yeah, that rumor was during Pax East. Capcom redacted it, saying that they were just talking about the future of the franchise. Less Starforce, more MM X, I say!
well, I hope that we get mm11 or mmX9.
I really hope that someone besides Inti Creates makes the next one. They're doing an alright job, but the new ones just aren't as fun as the older ones. X anything would be awesome at this point.
Skyrim can do that to you. Ever since Leeradical sent me that copy of it I've been playing it a lot. It is so massive I cannot grasp the scope of what is yet to come. Don't feel bad at all. The thing I always remember about sites like this one is that life goes on. People get busy and drop off for a bit sometimes. Then they come back in force. It's an ebb and flow kinda thing.
Yeah, I tried it out when it came out, but the game didn't click for me until I got bored recently. Now I have a hybrid lockpicker/ Paladin/enchanter. It's great.
