Here's an article I copied and pasted from www.destructoid.com about a new MGS bundle to be released for the playstation 3.
To be released this June.
Copied:
Metal Gear Solid gets another package, this time bringing together games Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition, Peace Walker HD Edition, the VR Missions, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition. Squeeze in the original MX versions of the first two MG games and two Ashley Wood graphic novels and you have a hell of a Metal Gear collection.
Konami is calling this the Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection, a PS3 exclusive that will be coming to North and South America this June.
Finished:
Konmai should have titled it The Year Of The Snake collection.
I have all the games mulitple times but you also get the VR Missions and 2 Ashley Wood graphic Novels.
I can not wait!
Well if theres one thing i know and thats if its metal gear you will get it lol
I can't help myself! hahahahah
Im glad I held out before buying anything Metal Gear, Ill will def be buying this once it releases. Might not be right off but it will happen in the coming time.
Nicole: I am buying it as soon as it is released!
What is this Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition? Didn't they release a patch for MGS 4 to have trophies? I'd get this for the MX versions if I didn't already have all of the others.
Aaron: Yeah, the patch is already included in the trophy edition, from what I understand.
I thought about you when Konami emailed me this announcement. it would be cool if it had the really old Metal Gear games on it and the Ape Escape 3 mini-game.
Cary: It is going to have the old MG games on it. The 2 MXS releases. If that's what you mean? I just wish it would include the Snake vs Monkey from MGS3.
ANOTHER re-release of a re-release? Damn!
lol
I may look into this. As of right now, I only have MGS 2 and 3. Definitely need to get my hands on the first and fourth one, so this could possibly be a cheaper way for me to grab them all in one swipe!
Lance: Yeah, check it out, I believe it will be a good deal.
Who the hell is Lance!?
lol
Yargz: Darn it! I knew it would happen sooner or later. At 1up I could check for peoples names...and i thought I remembered your name as lance.....I blame it on me being old! hahahahah
Wow. I think I'm going to get this. Thanks for the info, GH.
James: and maybe, just maybe I'll get the ME trilogy!
How much is it? I have the HD Collection but if it's affordable I may get it since I haven't tried MGS4 yet.
Capt.N. I havent heard any news on pricing, but you will also get the VR missions and MGS4 plus the 2 graphic novels.
Sounds like the most epic bundle of all time! Who could possibly resist that?
Wayde: Exactly!
I was about to pick up the sale on PSN for Peace Walker, but I might just wait for all of this now. Seems like a sweet deal and pretty limited.
Patrick: yeah, just wait and score them all with one purchase. A sweet deal indeed!
