Urgh, after the con I had a few... problems, so i didn't get home till 12 at night.
So lets just get on with it...
I Played...
Rayman Legends: It's really, really, really, really good. I played a level called Castle Rock, well it made the game for me because well i won't spoil it but if you could here it you'd be delighted by just how clever it is. Ancel and co. have captured lightning twice it seems and the sprites are super detailed, if anyof you watched the trailer for the latest Guilty Gear where they show the characters are 3D? Well if i didn't now any better i'd swear Rayman and the gang where.
A bunch of fighting games: Melty Blood and Arcana Hearts in particular.
One Piece: Pirate Warrior 2: think dynasty warriors but more super, i'm a recent convert to One Piece after not liking it for years. Sadly it grew on me
Etrian Odyssey IV: same only same old, which means it's great :) a few improve ments here and there but overall a good sequel.
Games I saw...
Game & Wario: it's a fun looking Wii U game, involves quite a few clever uses of the pad but I think they should have held out till they could use 2 pads but anything to stop this game drought Nintendo has had, right?
Metal Slug: at least i watched as my cousin played on a classic Neo Geo,
It serves both as a remind of how games used to be and just how far we've come.

I met Shinichiro Watanabe, of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo
and I got signed the second anime I ever bought (the first being Street Fighter 2: the Movie)
I never said but yesterday I bought a Gaphic Novel I wanted last year but already broke my budget.
7 String is a manga-esc comic set in a musical world where instruments are weapons, all i'll say about it is you should really read it. It was recently re-released by a different publisher so the one i have is better quality paper and has bonus material. Got it signed an'all!

So much delicous swag! I like the art showcased for "7 String" and the judge Dredd cosplayers did great work on their costumes! Extra props for the Persona 4 Arena puzzle & Metal Slug showcase!
The Judges have custome made badges for themselves, a personalised costume like that is always cool to see. I with i had a bigger budget to have bought that puzzle.
MCM always plays the classics, we even had Goldeneye 64 and Mario Kart on the SNES (we had Contra a few years before that).
good to hear that Rayman is good on the Wii U, we need more games like that to justify the systems. I'd kill to be able to play on a classic Neo Geo AES instead of that crappy Neo Geo X offered.
