E3, I'm surprised. You've announced a lineup of games that actually seem innovative and don't require intelligent people to bash their heads against hard surfaces as a pre-requisite to play. I mean, there's Killzone, CoD, and Battlefield, but for the most part, I'm pretty pleased with this year's announcement lineup. These are the top 10 games that really get my oil pumping, if you know what I mean.
10. KINGDOM HEARTS 3
It's Kingdom Hearts 3! I mean, come on! If you don't go weak at the knees seeing your favourite childhood Disney characters meet up with your favourite childhood Final Fantasy characters, then obviously you're a Heartless. Or a Nobody. Either way you're controlled by Organisation XIII and you're obviously evil.
Anyway, the first two games were fantastic, filled with amazing callbacks to past Square Enix games and awesome Disney locales. With Disney now owning the rights to Marvel and Star Wars, the possibilities are phenomenal. Although, please, for the love of god, don't make us visit Lightning.
Read the rest of the article here! Alternatively, you could go the rest of your life not knowing what the rest of the list contains. Wouldn't that suck?
I cannot believe that I keep forgetting games. Witcher 3 has always been at the top of my list. Stupid awesome video for The Order: 1886.
The only thing that I really hated from this year is the KH3 announcement. I really do want more KH, I just wish that it wasn't 2+ years away. I just am expecting it to be that far off.
The Witcher 3 isn't for another 2 years either, unfortunately. Oh well, at least we know these games are coming!
I thought that I heard that Witcher 3 was early next year, and cyberpunk 2077 was at least 2 years off.
Last I heard it was early 2015. Not entirely sure though.
Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance are great games too.
Unfortunately, I don't own the consoles required to play either.
That's too bad. Birth by Sleep is the first game in the chronological order and Dream Drop Distance leads int KH3 I believe.
Yeah I know. The series is split over so many different systems though, it's ridiculous. I mean there's games on ds, iphone, psp etc. It's absurd.
The only thing I'm excited for is Mirror's Edge 2. Other than that... meh.
Really? There is a ton of awesome games that were announced at E3. I mean Bayonetta dude! Bayo-fucking-netta!
I never played Bayonetta so it's hard to get excited over. I don't know man. I might retire soon. By that I mean stick with what I got other than occasionally buying random stuff off Steam. I bet Bilby is excited over a new Kingdom Hearts though right?
Yeah just a little lol. And damn that sucks man. I honestly don't think I could do that.
Witcher 3,the new Final Fantasy,KH3, and Bayonetta 2 all have me creaming my pants! Er, I mean they have me looking forward to gaming's future! Now if you excuse me, I have to "tidy up".
Bayonetta has me creaming my pants too Ben. Also, apparently she's in a game...
The Evil Within sounds like it could be the next Eternal Darkness for me, in that it could be the next survival-horror game I get really into. I think I actually will enter this generation with a PS4, I just have to see when, so I'm excited.
Yeah man, it's looking like it could be utterly amazing. If you get a chance to play Amnesia: The Dark Descent, DO IT! It is hands down the best horror game I've ever played! It runs fairly well on laptops.
I don't normally care for open world games but I love cyberpunki stuff, so I'm excited to find out more about Watch Dogs. And The Evil Within, hoo boy! A new horror game from the guy that popularized survival horror and later action horror? Mikami knows what he's doing. I hope he knocks this one out of the park.
Yeah, I hope it outsells Resident Evil 6. That would put a foot up capcom's ass lol.
On the ones of your list, Watch Dogs, FF XV and MGS 5 look interesting, even though i'm not sure if i'll ever play the last two mentioned games. Other than that, i'm excited for the whole Wii U library, but more specially Super Smash Bros 4, the new 3D Mario game and Sonic: Lost World. Also a game i'm not sure i'll play but found interesting was InFamous Second Son.
I hadn't seen stuff about Infamous when I wrote this, but I am rather excited now.
