Ok I would like to say why all the hate for either system? Even thou Xbox at the moment is getting most of it. I understand where people are coming from..Microsoft is screwing up..But if you actually think about it every big video game company does this??

The nes and snes, Nintendo was top dog..Then the n64 came out..Nintendo being cocky about it figured they were going to stay on top..They were saying we are going to be using cartridges rather than Cd's which at the time were the better way to go..But they did not care.
They made other mistakes, and what happens they fall back down the ladder..They learned and made a powerhouse..talking about sales,The wii. The game cube did not do too well sales wise, even thou it has a rather solid games on the system. The wil outsold the other guys!

When Sony was on top, they took the gaming world and changed it, first the ps1 then the massive ps2, changing the gaming world..Sony being cocky about it figured they were going to stay on top..Well they brought out the ps3 with the crazy price of 600 bucks!! Well the ps3 had a shaky start and was trying to keep up with the wii u and xbox 360.

When the Xbox came out people were like they were not going to make it cause at the time, it was too crowed..Sony, Nintendo, Sega, and now Xbox?? Well Sega left the console war..Even thou the dream-cast was super awesome system with lots of good games. So now you had Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. What happened well Sony outrageous price helped the xbox 360 and it was primed to get into a lot of homes, and they did..
So now Xbox being cocky about it, are saying we are going to do this and that..Seems to me every time these big companies get cocky about their position..They fail!!
With all that being said..Microsoft is making many mistakes..They will take a hit..Will it knock them out of the console war?? No..They will take a beating and try to see if they can learn from their mistakes.
So let's not hate on just enjoy the ride and see how the gaming world is going to be in a couple of years from now. Seems to me anything Microsoft does I see "ps4 ftw!!!!" When I see that I want to make up my own internet slang..Instead of FTW!! It will be FTS..Now if you do not know what that means..It means For the Slap...Here are some examples

Chrono Trigger--People kept telling me you call yourself a rpg nut and have not played Chrono trigger..Man get out of here lol..So i am playing that at the moment and i am really happy i am, really solid game
Zelda 2..Played it a lot, but never beat it..
That's it!! But if you remember my other blog posting when a new game that i want to play hits that 20 dollars mark..It is a must buy!! So i got halo 4 for like 18 new and dishonored for 20 new!!! So I added 2 more games to the backlog..Very hard to resist not saying man i play chrono trigger later let me play halo 4 till i beat it!!

I agree. I think the market will teach Microsoft a few lessons. Hopefully they take them to heart. But until then, I'm steering clear!
Oh I agree, I hope they do learn and learn fast, this is not the way of doing things. Hope they will change and get back to xbox 360 form
If I were to make a bold prediction (see what I did there with the font? LOL), I would probably predict Microsoft is going to fail incredibly hard with this console. I know that I won't be buying an X1 simply for Privacy concerns as well as the idea of actually owning a game (The X1's system to me sounds like a permanent rental ideal, not cool..). BUT, much like a phoenix, Microsoft is going to fall and go up in flames, only to rise from the ashes born anew.
So basically my prediction is this:
Microsoft will fail undoubtably. But they're MS afterall, so I'm going to guess that they'll be the quickest of 'em all to usher in a next-next-gen console. Just my thoughts though, take it as you will!!
As for the Backlog; I finally beat Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge and I started working on Space Marine, 40,000. But I back-tracked a bit and started to play Bioshock Infinite again in hopes of wrapping up all of the achievements.
Well that is not a really bold statement lol..Microsoft will fail hard, and they will feel the effects of money being taken out of their pockets..That is when they are going to change!! Good good to know about your backlog..How is space marine??? Heard mixed reviews..?? I do not want to add it to my backlog list if it sucks lol

If the gameplay was slightly quicker, it may have been a tad better. But it essentially plays like a slowed down version of God of War coupled with guns...
Yeah I figured that was the case about space marines..Guess I will pass on that one for now.
My backlog has been improving as I finished Far Cry Instincts:Predator and Max Payne 3 recently. I just started on Mirror's Edge the other day. Even Though The Last Of Us has me hooked currently. The hate is puzzling to me. All these companies have produced products that made my life better. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Let the chips fall where they may I say.
Yeah I agree, man I have heard so many good things about the last of us..Been wanting to pick a ps3..Waiting for the prices to drop under 200 dollars for one..I have some catching up to do regarding ps3 titles
I played far too many FPSs in a row. So I am currently recovering with NES and SNES games. Working through Legend of Zelda, and hope to play some Super Metroid and Super Mario RPG.

Retro!! Sweet, I am loving me some retro as well..I get like but it is with rpg's..Sometimes i play back to back to back rpgs's and i need to change it up to keep it fresh! FTS Just means For the slap..Regarding anything in general about the hate on the xbox..So it is more of the sony fans
I want to be with you,bro. I hate being a console nazi. However, I cannot support. microsoft again until it stops being so anti consumer/anti-privacy/anti ownership. Luckily I believe they will see the error of their ways and come around. Which is good because without more competition Sony will get lazy and uncreative.
Still, being I'm broke and getting even one console is a huge investment, my money will be going towards a PS4. I wish I could afford a X box 1, Wii U, and PS4 simultaneously but some of us just aren't that privileged. (And I rather go with the company that was "consumer friendly" at launch. As such the PS4 and Wii U are the more tempting prospects.)
PS: It's never too late to enjoy good games. Glad you're enjoying Chrono Trigger for the first time!
Welcome to the club..Broke as well.. I will not be getting into the era of gaming till maybe like 2 years from now..I figure it will good time to knock out my current gen backlog list..Hopefully by then there will be a solid amount of games that i want to play on the current gen stuff..
Solid! Yup, I usually wait for 2 years myself. That way the newest consoles have impressive game libraries by that point. Oh, good news! Microsoft has listened and they're going back on most of their shitty policies. While I'll still be getting a PS4 first, I applaud MS for what they have done.
Yeah that is step 1, but they gotta do bunch of other stuff now..Lot's of people have just flat out switched over to ps4..So microsoft is doing damge control at the moment

I have one. I've made no bones about disliking Microsoft in other threads. I lined up for the 360 and owned the original Xbox too but I started hating Microsoft years before there were consoles. I don't like their politics or their business practices but I bought the two consoles because they had stuff I had to play. I would have never been able to play great Sega games like Otogi and the first Fable without an Xbox. I would have missed out on Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia without a 360.
This time I'm not even going to look. I can't miss what I don't know about and besides I don't want a Kinect in my house. LOL
I didn't play Chrono Trigger until it released on the DS. It's a great game.
I just finished Ni no Kuni about a hour ago. Damn good game.
I should probably try posting a blog or something. It's been a while. 
Yeah I was going to get it for the ds when it came out..But I just do not like playing long periods of time on a small screen.
Well, they're not gonna brick as hard now, what with these policy back pedals. And the war has begun anew so to speak. lol
Looks like they put their pride away and started to listen to some of the gamers out there.
