Hello my friends. Today is the day I give my weekly update of what I am playing, cooking and listening to.
First. What I am playing.
Lego Harry Potter years 1-4 ( PS3 )
My wife and I got this game at launch ( Pre ordered to get the key chain ) and got to 85% complete then could not get any further. Well, the reason was, there is a glitch, if you play co-op the Polyjuice potion will not open in Hogwarts, so you can change characters to finish the tasks in Hogwarts. I had to start a whole new game and play it in single player to open it.
Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention ( PS VITA )
I want to get it for the PS3, hopefully it will be free on PS Plus soon. It is a fun and funny game. The only this that bugs me is the armor.... I hope there will be more to chose from the further I go. I am currently on chapter 3 episode 2 and going back through other chapters to level up.
Rayman Origins ( PS VITA )
Welcome to platform gaming hell! This game is so fun and at times rage quitable. I am currently going back through and completing all the tasks. This game is perfect for the Vita. I can not wait for Legends to get here.
Now for the food.
This is a topping I made for steak tacos. It is Fire grilled Fresh Chiles, Fresh Cilantro and Fresh Tomatoes, with Lime juice and a few other spices.
Here is the finished product. Grilled flank steak taco.
Now for what I am listening to currently.
And that is it folks. See you next week.
Those steak tacos look delicious. I'd probably pass on the topping, as I am a wimpy New England girl and my lips would probably burst into flame and fall off.
My Indian mouth, trained to withstand the hottest chilies and spices in the world, scoffs at this.
I always order the hottest at restaurants.
I repeat, I am a New Englander. We have bland palates. But we do make the worlds best baked beans. Just sayin'.
Oh, this was not that hot. I took the seeds out.
Being from Texas I would eat the hell out of those tacos lol!!
I am sure you would lol. We like the corn tortilla over the flour.
WEll we have something else besides heavy metal and games in common cause thats the only way I eat my tacos corn not flour lol!! And Disgea is one of my favorite Nippon Ichi game series I have the ps2 1 & 2.
damn dude, I just woke up, but I would freaking wolf down those tacos in a second!
I always wanted to get into a Disgaea game, but haven't yet. Maybe when I eventually get a Vita.
They have it on the PS3. If you lived close you could of had some, it made a lot.
I am starting to wonder if I should be taking pictures of the food that I make...
Since I finally was able to get into a tactical RPG, I am finally wanting to play Disgaea
I would recommend it.
Rayman Origins is just the kind of platforming I like: simple but challenging. I imagined it would be perfect for the portable. I want Legends but I bet if I wait 4 months like I did with Origins I can find it for $20!
I love the game because you have to really have timing on some parts.
Great you got Rayman Origins. It's wacky, fun, pleasant to look at and I think it's my favorite 2D Plataformer from the Wii.
Any blog with tacos and R.E.M. is full of win.
I've been interested in trying the Disgaea games. Would you recommend the games for those unexpirienced in Strategy RPGs?
Nice! Rayman Origins is a fantastic game! I was gonna go for the platinum, but some of those speed runs are absolutely insane! I'm really looking forward to Legends.
Nice to meet you Larry. I've been following your blogs for a while, and am just now bothering to comment. I have a strange feeling we've met before. Maybe in another life?
I am sure we have. Gambit.
I liked the first Disgaea. It's strategic intricacies kind of scared me off despite the charming characters though. lol. It's odd I could pick up FF tactics and the first Ogre Battle so easily yet Disgaea could twist my brain into a pretzel!
Rayman Origins is a great game. I play it with my nieces whenever we go over there house (though it is actually my game). We still haven't beaten it but we haven't been over there much lately and, well, they're not very good lol. But it's a lot of fun all the same
everyone seems interested in this Rayman game. makes me wonder if the different console versions warrant different purchases for the game.
