It was exciting to see the next Smash Bros. revealed back at E3 in June, but really, not much was revealed. Only a handful of returning characters were shown and just a few new characters. I am sooooo overjoyed that Mega Man is joining the fight! I always thought he should have been in Brawl; after all, Mega Man is one of gaming's most important mascots! The Wii U version looks fantastic in HD.
The official name of this game has not even been announced yet! Listen up, Nintendo! The Wii U version should be called Super Smash Bros. Universe (Super Smash Bros. U for short, get it?). The universe part has to do with gaming's greatest mascots coming together to make the greatest fighting game ever. The above picture is something I drew over the last week. Sonic, Snake, and Mega Man are already on the roster (let's hope for those first two); there are many other third party characters which deserve to be in this game. These are the characters I think should be in the next Smash Bros. game. Each of them are major mascots from some of gaming's greatest companies.

Bomberman (Hudson)
Bonk (Hudson)
Simon Belmont (Konami)
Lara Croft (Core Design)
Rayman (Ubisoft)
Crono (Square)
Banjo (Rare)

All of these characters have appeared on Nintendo consoles. You're probably thinking I'm crazy and this will never happen, and perhaps you're right. But the fact that Mega Man has already made the roster gives me hope! There is still time for other third party characters to make it! I doubt Nintendo will go so far as to include this many, but we can always wish for the best. What do you think? Which characters would you like to see in Smash 4? Are these good choices? A Belmont, any Belmont would be nice. Personally, I'd like to see Richter, but any Belmont in a Smash Bros game would be extremely welcomed in my eyes.

I agree, someone from Castlevania, considering its one of the best adventure series in gaming history! I would prefer Simon because, well, he's the original vampire slayer.
What sucks is that Konami is totally ignoring the old Castlevania games right now. I wouldn't be very happy to see a Lords of Shadow character in there either.
You can always hope for DLC to play with characters that you wouldn't normally have in an SS game.
Yeah, we'll see if Nintendo goes that route. That would be pretty sweet.
I really hope they put Rayman in. He's been on a roll lately and that would be the perfect time to strike while the iron's hot. Plus Ubisoft is one of the few Western developers who gives Nintendo great support so it would be a great sign of good will.
Rayman has been in some great games (especially as of late), so he definitely deserves to make the cut. It'll be a shame if he doesn't make it because he's such a great character, like Mega Man or Sonic.
I wouldn't count on Bomberman or Bonk to be in it, as Konami bought out Hudson and squelched them.
If the game had Pac-Man in it, it would have nearly every one of my favorite video game characters.
Captain Syrup would be a good obscure Nintendo entry.
.....that would explain the lack of Bomberman games as of late. Sad. Hudson used to be a gaming giant, but not so anymore, huh?

That would be sweet...but it'll never happen lol. If there are even four third-party characters, we'll be lucky.
I know, I'm prepared for that, but I can dream, right? Who should the fourth be? I would say Simon Belmont. Out of all these characters, Little Mac has the best chance of making it since he's a Nintendo character, and I really hope he does.
