Hello Pixlbit. I havent posted in a long time and I really am not in the mood to blog but I hate for it to look like I abandoned the community. I still check here everyday and read the new postings. So here's what I've been up to.
Year of the Snake:
Yep, I havent stopped playing. I am still playing MGS Peace Walker. as a matter of fact I was almost finished with the game when I decided to delete my save and start all over. Why? I figured I could do things a little different and have better results. So I started over. I am now 11 hours into the game. It is a wonderful game. I am enjoying it way better than I thought i would. The CQC is so satisfying in this game. However the QTE sucks big time. I am actually stuck in the game because of a QTE.
PSP:
Just when I was about to buy a PS Vita walmart restocked some new PSP 3000 core bundle with 4 free games. Only $100.00 so I took advantage of the layaway plan and I will probably get it off layaway this coming weekend! Now I can play Metal Gear Portable Ops. Hooray!
In General:
Work sucks, it is our busy time of the year and I am working 10 hours a day and most Saturdays. Im too tired to do much of anything when I get home. We had three days of cool weather and now its back to hot weather. But, this is my favorite time of the year Oct-Nov-Dec. so I plan on enjoying it. I might stop YOTS for the next few weeks and play a Silent Hill game just to get into the mood of Halloween.
Until Next time:
Im sorry for not posting very often but I do read your blogs and if i ever finish MGS Peace Walker I'll put up a review.
Have fun gaming and watching football or just getting outside;
See you next time Pixlbit ~GH
Nice to know you haven't disappeared! That PSP deal sounded sweet, what games came with it?
The games for the PSP are going to be digital downloads. Im not sure which ones. I just noticed it on the outside of the box cover when she was taking it t layaway for me.
I'm going to pick up a 2ds tomorrow. I probably shouldn't, but I have some money put aside in my savings account and a gift card. It will probably be my last big purchase until late next spring.
I knew you hadn't abandoned us, your account was still here, lol.
Tami: I kinda want a 3DS to play MGS 3 3D. This psp is my next to last big purchase. I might buy a new game before years end,
Been wanting to pick up Peace walker for my psp. So, it has QTEs,huh? Damn nabbit! A blemish on what otherwise seems like a perfect game. (I'm intrigued by the fact you can kidnap soldiers then re-train them to help you in different ways)
Ben, aside from the QTE the game is awesome. You recruit soldiers and assign them to certain tasks, You can even play through the game with the soldiers and level them up. You also send out teams on missions and watch replays of the mission. The game has so much to offer. Sine you own a 360 you should get the HD collection. Its a lot easier to play with a game controller.
Im glad your still around we have missed you here and I hope you stick around this time.
Rodney: I check in just about everyday. Its just that I've been so busy at work and all. Im not leaving. This is my new gaming home
Man oh man if my local Walmart had that PSP deal I would jump on that, especially since the games are digital. My second PSP has nub problems.
It has been a while since you blogged because I forgot about Year of the Snake. Nothing but props from me for taking on that challenge (it must be tons of fun especially if you love the series).
Sorry to hear about the job, hopefully you can find some time to relax with some games.
Chris: I believe walmart.com has the same deal. I feel like its a good purchase. Yeah, I love the MGS series and that is the main reason for buying a PSP so I can play Portable Ops. Which is an awesome game too. The good side of so much work is i was able to buy the PSP.
I hadn't play Mass Effect in 2 months!
James I dont believe that! Man You really are slacking...hahahahah
I think he may be in a 12 Step program, lol.
hey, nice to hear from you! keep gaming! and I hope work slows down soon....
Hey Matt. As I commented earlier..its a double edge sword. Too much work and I stay tired but then I make enough money for a PSP. hahaha go figure
Good to hear your year of the Snake is going strong and that you bought the PSP instead of the Vita. I promise you won't be disappointed. Time for some Silent Hill soon. Much like my Halloween Games list for this year, will there be a Silent Hill title on there?
