Popping in to get you guys up to date on what's been going on.
I played Payday 2 last Friday with MrYarger and had a lot of fun. It handles a little differently than I expected, but it was still a breeze to get into. Too bad the meth house blew up on Chris again!
I got my PS4 last week and love it. I've gotten some play on Battlefield 4, Killzone Shadowfall and Resogun. The system is beautiful. It runs so well and the differences in the graphics between PS3 and PS4 are really outstanding. However, it's the pretty simple Resogun that has held my attention. There's just so much fun to be had with that game!
I decided to work on my backlog of games, with the first being Metro: Last Light. And it's started glitching like crazy. I've entered encounters where the mutant enemies were frozen in place. A boss fight had the monster phase into a wall. And I've been stuck in corners as well. I'll probably have my review up soon. Especially if I quit playing it due to defects. Ugh.
Is Battlefield 4 working out for you OK on PS4? I had to restart the campaign and not being able to play in Conquest is a big letdown until we get a patch.
I haven't played the campaign beyond a few minutes, but multiplayer has been working fine with me. I've heard about the crashes other people are having, but I've somehow managed to avoid them. *fingers crossed*

I'm likiing the PS4 quite a bit, but what gets me most excited is the promise that it shows. The games that are developed for it in a few years will no doubt be amazing.
