I bet those little things are expensive. 

That's basically my thought on this whole "put your figures in the game, kids!" craze. I mean it's cool, but that's a lot of extra money to spend on a game when you could easily just have those character models in the game without any extra figurines to purchase.

Yeah they'll make figures out of anything.  When Aardman did clay animated DC shorts, they even made figures of those!  I did review Scribblenauts Unmasked a while back, though.

I heard Skylanders is Activisions second biggest money maker outside of Call of Duty. When I was in North Carolina, I went to a Walmart type store and the endcaps in the gaming section were COD on one and Skylanders on the other. Now Disney's got a line so why not Scribblenauts too. $16.99 for four of them seems a bit steep and they probably don't have Harley Quinn. <sigh>

Action figures are cool. I have one I couldn't resist when I saw it at Gamestop. The Brute Leader Tartarus from Halo 2.

These figures look cool, but I'm not into the collectable stuff, so I'd probably not get these. If they were sold individually, I'd probably get Batman
