Bonus BaD #01
I said I wouldn’t do it. I swore to myself I wouldn’t try again. I’ve tried to years in a row and both years I was never able to pull it off. The first year I got too busy. Last year I thought my BaD’s were crap. So what makes this year any different? Not sure. I’d like to say that I fail at my BaD’s is because the reason behind the BaD’s was to help promote community. And sadly I’m not one for community. I’m usually the type that just likes to blog and keep to myself with my inner thoughts. Though I like to project this aura of self-controlled acculturated coolness that bordered between a responsible adult and a virtual reality sociopath, there are times when I’d like to be like how I was when I used to write outlandishly during my school journalism days. Perhaps I might be able to show a different side of NSonic79 this month. We’ll just have to see this year as I once again throw in my hate to this year’s BaD’s.
The “Blog A Day” Challenge ,from my understanding back during my 1up.com days, is a challenge that helps to bring about the fun of blogging while at the same time giving something to the blogging community that could possibly be unique to the blogger themselves. At least that’s what I’ve gathered from past BaD’s that were held on 1up.com. Whether I’m able to pull this off this year remains to be seen. Though the BaD’s only take place during the weekdays, I hope to post something during the weekends as “Bonus BaD” material. Though I’m sure other BaD bloggers will try to run with the “Bad” puns in their titles I don’t I’ll try to go that route. But I will try to add something unique this go around.
I gave it a lot of thought during January and I thought I’d try to show you all something “ugly” about myself. A sight that will make any reader of my BaDs this year to run screaming in terror, something that will strike fear in the hearts of women and make men question their faith in a just God.
That’s right! I’m going to post “selfies” of myself.
Scary I know.
Over the course of the months I’ve seen some bloggers on various sites sport some “epic” beards. So I thought I might show off my beard growing skills by letting mine grow out during the course of the month. I normally don’t do such given how I was raised and the fact that “teh wife” prefers me clean shaven. But I got her permission to give this a go so we’ll see how long this will last. Will it last longer than my BaD’s or will I have to shave it off after putting up with so much scratchiness? If anything I’ll just post a selfie if I happen to be too busy to write anything. In fact I’m not even sure I’d be able to comment to blog posts, be it from others or my own BaD blog comments. I best not dwell on these matters and try to enjoy the challenge.
We’ll just have to see. So I’ll leave my BaD blogs with a selfie of myself along with some parting words besides my usual “Ta-ta” I’ve grown accustomed to ending my blogs with. I know not really original but it’s different is it not?
So let the BaD’s begin! May the best BaD blogger….enjoy?

Good luck with your beard and BaD Sonic! I usually sport some kind of 5 o'clock shadow. Mostly because I'm lazy and see shaving as pointless though lol. 
I'm kinda of the same way myself, given how I was drilled into shaving back in christian schooling, but my wife keeps me straight. It maybe pointless but there are those that like the clean, shaven men.

The top is what he should look like by month's end I think. 
This is a cool idea. I might do this next time No Shave November comes around.

That's where I kinda got the idea for the pictures! I heard a story about how the razor blade companies are hurting because less men are shaving right now. And i watched the episode of "That 70's Show" where Kelso and Fez grow out their facial hair.

Thanks! I'll try to keep the weekend blogs to a minimum. Thus the beard off pics if I happen to lag behind, either during the weekend, or the week. If anything I'm more concerned about comment to other blogs.
Ever since I played the character creator for Saints Row 4 (or was it 3) I noticed all the different names for facial hair styles and was fascinated by them. So I would suggest that you attempt a certain style instead of just building a beard. Here's a suggestion:
The Short Boxed Beard as sported by Iced Earth's bass player Luke Appleton.
I've thought about doing that time and again but I'm not sure I could pull that off. As the month continues I'll explain asto why. I guess we'll have to see how my beard comes out, along with if I have the right tools to sculpt the short boxed beard. thanks for the suggestion!
I almost went for Mutton Chops in my band years ago. I kinda wished I'd done it. As the bass player, it would've looked cool.
I don't shave much, but I don't have much of a beard to show for it. Not that I'll take a picture to prove it, I don't want to cause fear-induced panic.
that's what I was afraid off too. I don't want to cause alarm with my face. There are times though where I wish I didn't have to shave often and only on occasion.
