Its the end of the first week of bad. Of course, its today when I can't think of anything to write about. So here's a bunch of things I've been doing and thinking about.

  • Yesterday they announced the line up for EVO 2014. Ultra Street Fighter 4, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, KOF XIII, Injustice, Blablue Chronophantasima, and Killer Instinct. Smash Bros Melee is tentatively also apart of that line up, so long as Nintendo agrees (so you know, you might want to politely remind Nintendo of America that they should). Strangely, no 3D fighters are present (Tekken, VF, DOA, Soul Calibur). That sucks for 3D fans but almost all of the companies behind them are doing something this year. So its not a total loss.

  • Finished Resident Evil 6 Ada's Co-op with a friend the other day and it was stupidly fun. While my friend was Ada, I was the unknown Agent which was weird. Agent was added post game to Ada's chapter and you can clearly tell. He can't interact with switches and doors nor can grapple hook like Ada. It was kind of frustrating because I pretty much watched my friend do most of the action while I did mostly shoot. Still it was fun and nice of Capcom to at least put this in for free. Usually, they charge most of the time for something like this.

  • And a random bit of news: Skullgirls Encore, the new version based off the PC version, is coming to PS3 first next Tuesday. Xbox 360 users and European players. Its free to upgrade if you previously bought the first Skullgirls and Squilgy will be free for the first 3 months. More info here.

So that's it mostly. But before I split for the day, I wanted to ask for some advice. I for awhile I wanted to a 2014 preview for Fighting Games. It was going to be a three day thing, first day over the big four to look out for this year, the second over independent fighting games coming out or to look out for, and the third was going to be over the large amount of fighting anniversaries happening this year. I was going to write this week but I kept asking myself who would read this? Plus, is this the kind of thing that would be good for BaD? So I'm turning it over to you guys. Should I try this? I'm open to any suggestions you have. Thanks for reading and see you guys next week.

I say go for it. I do read, even though I do not always comment.

    Thanks Rook.

I love fighting games and was not aware of the fighting game extravaganza apparently going on this year, so I'd love it if you blogged about it.

Thanks Joe. I think I might do it now or at leat some amalgamation of it.

I like fighting games so I'd try to contribute! My only problen with BaD is everyone tries to post everyday so sometimes that makes it more difficult to find specific blogs that get lost in the bustling shuffle so to speak. lol.

Trust me I understand how hard it is to keep up. I have a bad time catching up and it doesn't help when I have to work that night I post a blog. So if I don't do it ahead of time, I have a bunch of stuff to try and catch up on.

I don't always comment on other blogs, but I always give them a read. Wish there was a thumbs up system like 1up. I always gave a thumbs up if I couldn't comment. I'll read and comment if you do read them. And if you want suggestions, make a dream roster or characters you want to see in SSB, and maybe showing off your SC5 created characters.

Also, I some advice from you, I got Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 but never got the dlc for it. The dlc on the Vita version is still up though, so I was wondering if I get the Vita dlc, will it work on the PS3 version? I've read from Sony that it works as a crossbuy thing.

Thanks Capt . N. And if the Vita DLC is up, which is weird, yes it a Cross Buy and it should unlock for the PS3.

Yeah, go for the blogs. You're free to post anything you want.

I'm enjoying Skullgirls, but i'm going to hold the game for a while until I have a 360 controler for my PC.

Has the new BlazBlue been released already?

    Posted on February 8, 2014 9:37 PM

Out of curriosity, do you have a PS3 controller, of the wired variety? The PC verison of the game does have patched PS3 controller support. Though I haven't tired it. I have a 3rd party PS3 controllers that work for it fine.

Nah, no PS3 control (and I don't even have the console).

Also, what about the new BlazBlue?

    Posted on February 8, 2014 9:57 PM

Still try and look for a decent 3rd Party for PS3. The new BlazBlue is out in Japan, but it most people have imported it. It won't arrive in the West until March.

You know, I'll read any blog you write, so do what you want to do!  Cool gamerpic, by the way.
