This is my favorite game of all time. The last of the Ninja Turtles games (the old ones) was the peak of the series. Each console game in the series was better than the last, the final triumph being this masterpiece. This game is an arcade port, but Konami decided to drastically change some things from the arcade version, adding stages and changing bosses. The result: a game that is actually superior to the arcade version! The game has a whopping nine stages, each one distinct from the last. Each turtle feels unique in their moveset and style. The combat is very fluid and fun. The time travel premise is so cool! I could go on and on about this game. The main thing is, this game holds up perfectly after all these years; it truly is a timeless game, and, in my humble opinion, the best beat 'em up game the world has ever known.

Favorite turtle?
Mine was always Donatello, mainly because he has the best weapon of the four (it has the longest reach), but he's also funny and smart in the cartoon/movies.
After watching a bunch of videos about it, I really want to play this game! It just looks so fun.
Holy Ninja Turtle, you are missing out on life if you haven't played this game!!! Do whatever you have to do, even play it on an emulator if you must, but you gotta try it, it's awesome!!!
I am glad to see the Turtles back in the lime light.
Well, they're still very popular today, but I assume you mean the old Turtle games in the lime light. They're good games, and they deserve attention. Will we ever get another good Turtles game?
Yes, exactly. I almost bought the one from Nic on the 3DS, because it was 10 bucks at Toy R Us, but I passed.
i was just a little too old to get into the cartoon and toys, but boy did I love the TMNT arcade games! We had this on the Super Nintendo and my little brother Jeff and I played it together all the time. He was only like, 3 or 4, and if I ever accidentally got the pizza instead of him, he'd cry out, "Moooommmm! Cary got the pizza! Waahhh!" We still joke about that today.
Nothing's more important than pizza! lol
This is a good game. Damn shame more TMNT games aren't like it.
Love the way you can toss enemies right at the screen. I gotta play this.
