Here are mine:
- A new 2D animated Street Fighter with Guilty Gear/Blazblue level sprite quality + the fluid animation of Third Strike.
- Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter
- Marvel vs. DC
- A new 2D Final Fight game using Final Fight 3's combat system.
- A new 2D Mega Man platformer. (Yes, I'm aware of Mighty No. 9 and I do plan to buy it.)
- An open world RPG based on the Vinland Saga manga.
- A next-gen cel-shaded sequel to Victorious Boxers 2.
- A console version of a proper Pokemon game.
Any games you'd love to see that you don't think will EVER be made?
Lost Odyssy 2
with the addition of an e I agree with the Yargermeister. :)
Oh God yes, that first one.
Not that big on Virtua Fighter, though. In fact a neighbor gave me 4, because he got bored of it and ... so did I, honestly.
Marvel vs. DC would be great. If they ever make a successful Justice League movie, making a huge deal out of that in any media format they can should be the next step.
Never played Final Fight.
I don't think a new 2D MM platformer is that far out of the question, considering 9 and 10, or do you mean with modern graphics, etc?
No idea what Vinland saga is. Ditto for Victorious Boxers. I mean I have an idea what they entail, but ... anyway, moving on ...
I thought Pokemon Stadium was that game before playing it as a kid. So disappointing. Those Pokemon Snap picture printers at Blockbuster were cool, though.
I don't know about myself at the moment. Maybe an F-Zero X Star Fox game? Or my idea for crossing my two favorite games (SF64 and Elite Beat Agents) into a rythym-action on-rails shooter.
A 2D remake of the Metroid Prime Trilogy.
Chrono Trigger/Cross sequel.
A new Eternal Darkness which I guess we may have had in Shadow of the Eternals had the Kickstarter succeeded.
A sequal to Psychonauts.
Odd, I thought Half-Life 3 was going to appear here :P
Let's see, how about Tomba 3, Klonoa 3, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne 2, Loco Roco 3, and so on.
Wish someone would do a Venture Bros. game, an adventure point-and-click like Monkey Island I think would be nice.
The sequel to Beyond Good and Evil.
You forgot Street Fighter vs Dragonball Z.
I'd love a SF though with the 2D looks of GG/BB graphical levels.
