So im sure you have games thats rare and if you think you dont you may be surprised to find out you may have a rare game.

So now that thats cleared up here's what I have for Rare games.
My first one is expensive to buy online if you can fin a original copy.

Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force III. Suikoden II, Infinite Space, and Tales of Destiny II (PS1) are the rarest ones I have that I can think of off the top of my head.
I actually considered getting Operation Darkness at one time, when I was primarily a 360 gamer. I did play the demo. Then I got a PS3 and Valkyria Chronicles. :)
I want to say Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii). Although I still have my Atari, NES and cartridges still lying around so those might count as well.
Honestly, nothing I own is really rare. As for most obscure, probably Ghost Trick.
Rare ones. . . Well, Clay Fighters 63 1/3: Sculptor's Cut for N64 which was a Blockbuster-only title is pretty rare. The loose cart goes for almost $100 last time I looked. I love the game so will never sell it however.
I have Eternal Darkness for GameCube. I used to have Cubivore, which is even more rare. I traded it way back though. Also I used to have Pikmin 2 on Gamecube. That's rare, but I traded that too. I have it on Wii now anyway.
I probably have a few more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.
I have quite a bit and strangely they are all Wii games. To name a few: Metroid Prime Trilogy (steelbook edition), One Piece: Unlimited Adventure/ Cruise 1 & 2, Pandora's Tower Limited Edition, Fatal Frame IV, Dokapon Kingdom, Xenoblade Chronicles, and probably a few more I'm forgetting that are Japan only titles.
My rarest is probably Ikaruga for GameCube, if that's even really rare. I have a ton of games, but I don't think any of them are hard to find at this point.
my prize gaming possession is an original copy of Pier Solar for Genesis.
By now Metroid Prime Trilogy has become a rarity. Luckily, I bought the game on the same year as it was released and I consider it one of my favorite video game expenses. To also add the rarity, it's the edition with the Steel case and with the concept art and Metroid Prime trilogy plot summary panphlet.
Panzer Dragoon Saga, Snatcher, Guardian Heroes, Ninja 5-0, Splatterhouse 2, Contra Hard Corps, to name a few.
Going by RarityGuide.com I think I have a couple, and best part is I think all but one was one I spent no more than $12 (Einhander was $30). Games like Persona, Resident Evil Long Box, RE Survivor, Legend of Mana, C&C Red Alert, Tail Concerto, etc. Thrift Stores, EB Games, and Swapmeets were the place to be once the PS2 hit the market.
Panzer Dragoon Saga and a bunch of Working Design titles that are hard to find for the PS2, PS1 and Sega CD. I have a few more but I'd have to dig them out. I don't remember them all sadly =(
