Holy crap, it's been a while since I blogged! It's been a busy and slightly stressful summer and I just didn't have the energy to game, much less blog. But, with the end of summer and the start of fall comes seasonal lay-off, the Getaway, and cooler temperatures, all of which contribute to less stress (other than money issues) and a desire to fire up my consoles again.
I'll write another blog later with what I was up to this summer, some random update stuff, and some ranger stuff once I get my photos on Flickr. Also a gaming blog, since I started a couple of games this past weekend. And hey! It's football season again!
'Til later!
Welcome back! And Go Cowboys!
Meh Cowboys. I'm a Pats fan all the way. Even if they're inconsistent as hell this season. And it's good to be back!
welcome back! It's my favorite Rangergirl! Well, the only rangergirl I know, but if I knew more, I'm sure you would still be my favorite!
Looking forward to your blogs. What have u been playing?
Go Eagles! I'll never forgive the Pats for beating us in the superbowl.
Haven't played much up until last Saturday. Then I started playing Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and Sleeping Dogs. Blood Dragon makes me laugh, even if I suck at the combat and keep dying. Sleeping Dogs totally hooked me. I'm goign to sign off here shortly and play some more. Any games I play will have to be games I already own, as I'm too freaking broke these days to buy anything new. Damn car has been a bit of a money pit this summer - up to $1600 in repairs so far and there are still almost three month left of 2014. But with the most recent repair today (I have the most awesome mechanics, they were booked through Thursday, but Darryl fixed it for me today anyway. I owe him cookies), I think I should be in good shape. Fingers crossed...
Well, I was glad you're back anyway, but now that there is potential for Blood Dragon talk, I am awaiting your next update with great fervor!
Remember to use the flip-off button liberally. Nothing feels better than flipping off a dragon you just toasted.
I can flip off dragons?! SWEET!
Nice to see you actually blogging.
You've been doing the pop in but when you didn't reply to my silly remark about forgetting your name I thought I'd leave well enough alone and you'd come back when you were ready to.
Anyway, since I'm PS3less at the moment I've resorted to finished Tales of Vesperia on 360 and I'm really liking it.
You know, I meant to reply to that comment, but I was easily distracted this past summer.
I need to play ToV. I started it, but never got very far. Now that I have no money for new games in the budget, it just might happen this winter.
I've been so impressed with Vesperia. Yuri is definitely a little darker than other Tales protagonists I remember and I've actually doing something other than button mashing to get through battles. I'm past the half way mark now and this could become the 3rd RPG I finish on the 360. The other two being Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon.
I have those other two games, too. Lost Odyssey I finished - had to, couldn't put it down. Blue Dragon I think I got 2/3 of the way through before I got distracted and wandered off. The other 360 RPG that I started and never finished was Eternal Sonata. I liked the game OK, but Polka's voice was like fingernails down the chalk board for me.
Welcome back!
Thanks!
Yes, glad to see you back and we did miss you. Hope you get to stick around and post blogs and read others. I've got a new one up with links to pictures from my recent trip to Disney World.
I knew you missed me, you messaged me on Facebook, and I know how much you like Facebook. And I was checking in here now and then and also reading reviews on GamerDad, even if I didn't comment on much of anything.
Welcome back to Pixlbit!
Thanks!
Glad your back!! We missed ya glad to know you didnt vanish like alot of people did...
Didn't vanish, just wandered off for a bit.
Well you being a forest ranger I could see that =-D was playing this on ps2 a thought you would like it what do ya think its on ps2 and the Wii
Looks intriguing. I'll have to look into it.
Knew you'd be back before too long. Super happy to see you, and I look forward to more blogs. Bring a picture of Kaylee doing shenanigans when you do your next photo update!
I don't have too many pics of Kaylee doing shenanigans, usually she does stuff like that when I'm trying to sleep. Nothing quite like 11 pounds of cat falling from six feet above your head onto your bladder at 5 AM to wake you up...
Yeah, I missed ya! I noticed it had been a while a few weeks ago. Figured you must be busy.
It was an insane summer.
Welcome back!!! I cannot wait to see what you've been playing and to see photos!
Didn't play much at all. Just turned on my consoles for the first time in months last weekend.
Hi! Good to hear from you. Its been an insane summer for me as well. I spent most of it healing on the couch :/
Doing good now, though!
Yeah, I read that. And congrats on the new addition, too. Hope you're feeling better now.
You have been missed, welcome back!
Well, you've been hearing from me all summer, lol. But it's good to be back.
Welcome back!
Thanks!
Hey welcome back! Since you're back are you going to start posting those cool pics of the scenery around your area? Folks like me in sunny Southern California only get hot, and cool with a breeze as seasons.
Chris, I'm working on uploading six months' worth of photos to my Flickr account so I can do just that. I'm actually thinking of going hiking today and checking out the foliage before the weekend gets crazy with the leaf peepers.
Sooooo I'm a bit late reading this, but it's always good to see another blog from Rangergirl!
Aw, shucks, Jamie.
I figured your summer got very busy. But now that Octoberween is in full swing you might get some time in for some Octoberween Gaming. Let's see what you have in store for us.
Guess you saw what I've been playing, because you commented on my Sleeping Dogs blog.
