I got a whole bunch of Amiibos, 8 actually, and Smash Bros for WiiU. I've never been much of a Smash Bros fan, but I've read and heard a lot about this game that I was excited when I peeled back the wrapping paper. The figurines are actually quite cool looking even if you don't own a WiiU. So far I'm just playing solo matches and online on the gamepad screen, basically like a big ass gameboy! If you have the game already is there anything special I need to check out about it? I see mini games and this meta game where you collect coins for some reason? What is that all about? Oh, and is it true that if you setup an Amiibo with one game, you can't use it with any other? I also have Mario Kart 8, so I was just wondering?

I also saw The Hobbit: The Five Armies. Suprisingly for such a sad devastating film, the audience was laughing quite a bit throughout? Is that wierd? The ending was so sad! 
People laugh at what I think are tragic moments all the time in the theater. Sometimes, the movie just fails and seems melodramatic and goofy; other times I wonder if these people have a soul.
I've never heard that about Amiibos only working in one game and seriously doubt that's true.
As for Super Smash, just keep playing it. You'll get the hang of all the modes and those things are great for how chock full of content they are.
The Hobbit WAS sad. No one laughed much when I was there. I liked that movie the best out of the new three though.
I dunno, all I know about Amiibos is they're cool!
The only thing I heard from the audience at The Hobbit was someone going "Oooo!" when someone, no spoilers, got knocked out.

Dude me and my dad laughed and I freaking cried. It had it's funny moments but sooo many sad moments. I enjoyed the hobbit trilogy and can't wait to buy the set. I wasn't impressed with Smash Bros Wii u. I actually wanted to play brawl when playing it. Some people might miss melee but I miss brawl more. I'm glad ur having fun though!
I thought I remembered something about how they work, but now I'm not sure, so just go to Nintendo's amiibo page (http://www.nintendo.com/amiibo/ ) and watch some vids.
On Smash, all you need to know is that it's the best fighting game ever, the amiibos are cool, they basically are cpu players in Smash that you train. And yeah you can only save data per game but you can use them in Mario Kart 8 with no worries since it only unlocks costumes. I only have 2 of them but so far the Link one does more because of Hyrule Warriors. Also, if you're keen on collecting amiibos, you have to buy them, at least the ones you want, when they release unless you want to pay aftermarket prices. If you're ever down for Smash, I can go a few rounds. But a bit of warning, I'm pretty good at it

What you need to know about SMB is that Metaknight sucks now.
You'll get your amiibo's to level 50 within a few days of playing I found too.
I've only got Link and Mario so far, the rest will come hortly...
Really? Well to be honest, Metaknight was pretty much overpowered to uber levels in Brawl 
His attacks don't feel right, they lag, don't have as much impact and are harder to control.

Captain N got you covered for Smash Bros, so i'm just going to say i'm late for The Hobbit. I've liked the last two films a lot, so i'm sure i'll have a great time with the third.
I heard some horror stories about the quality of the Ambiios but some of them look really cool from what I've seen. If I was a collector I would probably get those and the Pop Figures.
