Is really harshing my positivity, for one.
Not only have I caught my brother's cold, I've been having trouble sleeping (more than usual anyway), and I might've gotten caught up in an attempt at a blacklist.
Apparently someone thought it'd be a good idea to reveal the member lists of certain Facebook groups in some half-hearted way to shame/expose people, one of which was one I'm a member of. The whole thing seems to have backfired for the most part, with even more people joining said groups, and even if it didn't just the fact that someone thought this was a good idea is maddening.
Also I relearned that the moment I think, say, or type out "I'm never doing x", there are certain instances where I just start the countdown clock to my inevitably doing it anyway.
Was it a gaming group and why would that be shameful?
Well to be specific it's a GamerGate group (one of four that I saw were on the list that the person tweeted out), and their express purpose in doing this was to 'expose people to closet GamerGaters that they might know' in the hopes that they would shun them.
I figured that was it. Stupid.
The real kicker was that I wasn't that involved in the group before it happened. That's changed now.

Attracting controversy seems to be a running trait in my family, just didn't think that it also applied to the Internet until now.
ah, you know... controversy "tentacles" are everywhere around the internet these days. 
People just love drama and being the center of attention it's hilarious though how it always seems to come back a bite them in the ass. I'm hopeing the year picks up for you, mine hasn't started out the best either so I know exactly how ya feel.

I don't get why people would do that to various online communities. That just plain sucks, but I'm glad it backfired.
and that's they reasdon why I'm not invovled with groups, or social media, or facebook for that matter.
