So hello everyone again, Happy New Year! I mean its a few days late but still I hope the start of your new year is going good. Today I bring you a retrospective video of Darkstalkers that had a little help with. In 2013, at about the same time of Darkstalkers Ressurection, I did my own retrospective over Darkstalkers on here and 1UP. Enjoyed writing that but it was a mess. At the end of it though I expressed thoughts over possibly turning the retrospective into a video. Awhile after I had written it, I was approched by The Nostalgic Gamer after he found my work online to help with his own Darstalkers video retrospective. And over the course of the following year has lead up to this video. I'm still a little bummed that I haven't made a video and didn't get around to revising my retrospective as I planned for the 20th anniversary of Darkstalkers for last year, I'm happy I did contribute to an excellent video like this. Please give it a watch and consider subscribing to The Nostalgic Gamer because he plans on doing more with Darkstalkers.

Wow that's so cool that you helped with a video! In my nearly 20 years of writing game reviews, I don't think anyone's asked me once to help them with something like that! I'd love to make videos, too, but I lack the time and knowhow. Be sure to check back here early next week, as I'll have a blog up about my favorite Guilty Gear characters!

Nice! Even if you haven't done your own you should feel honored that someone approached you to help in crafting their retrospective. it shows that they respect you as an individual who knows their games. Even if we don't think what we blog about means much in the grand scheme of things, there are those that find a use for our words. All I had was a collage student ask to use one of my blogs for his research paper.
