Blog-a-Day is over! Wow, that was a lot of blogs, both to write and read. Thanks to everybody who commented on mine. I tried to get around and comment on things but man, there were just too many. Still hoping to go back and read some more but we're moving this weekend, so I won't exactly have a lot of time 
Life just never lets up, ya know?
Other than the iOS games for my BaD blogs, I've been playing Shovel Knight recently. That game is so good! It's like the best looking NES game ever but doesn't have all the made-in-the-'80s game design baggage that can make those games frustrating to revisit today. One of my favorite things is that you don't have lives. Instead you lose money when you die (which you can recover from the place of your demise, á la the Souls games) and can keep trying from the last checkpoint. This really cuts down on frustration from dying, at least for me.
I hope to blog regularly in the coming months but just not this much lol. Next year, though...next year let's do this all again

Yeah, Shovel Knight is fun.
It is! I'm nearly done with it and that makes me kind of sad.
Good luck with the move, Philip! I'm sorry I didn't comment on some of your IOS blogs. I really don't have a cell phone lol. It's a long, boring story. Shovel Knight is a great game though. I'm hoping they make a sequel.
Shovel Knight is the best thing I played all month I think they've got DLC planned for it but I hope they do make a proper sequel. It was certainly a success.
You're moving? Did you find a place with a better rent?
We're staying in the same complex (same building, actually!) but we're moving into a bigger place.
Hooray for Shovel Knight. It might not be a sequel, but this year we're getting a similar game (same music composer, ex-WayForward staff) called Adventures of Pip.
I've heard of that...though I don't remember anything about it lol. I hope it's fantastic! At least I know the soundtrack will be if Jake Kaufman is composing.
I think I spent more time reading and commenting than writing and panda searching. LOL
Got give kudos to Alice and Gabe (from 1UP) for starting this thing. It's a really great community building exercise.
BaD is a lot of work but it's a blast too.
Hence the fact that it flies by. I honestly read every BaD blog even if sometimes I have nothing to add. Some days it was like a tidal wave. But we survived.
