Yeah,I haven’t put up a blog in forever! Most of you know I got caught up in gamer-gate and I will not waste time telling everyone where I stand right down to the smallest detail. It’s my “own thing” and silly and inconsequential to all my friends on the side-lines.
I just hope there aren’t any hard feelings. I know lately when I try to talk to old pals from pixlbit I largely get ignored. Don’t worry, I’m not offended! I realize I retweet a lot of spam & lewds so if you all muted me I get it. (Many of you have jobs and some of the material I deal with is very NSFW. lol.) Regardless, I never wanted to step on anyone’s toes.
My art gallery is expanding and I’m having to write up descriptions for my setting and characters. To see all that madness you can go here! The gallery certainly has become a time-sink of sorts as well.
When it comes to games I recently beat Resident Evil Revelations 2. Beyond for some stuttering frame-rate when transitioning between areas the game is surprisingly good and even genuinely scary sometimes! I ended up enjoying it much more than Evil Within which kind of surprised me. (I’m referring to the 360 disk version…I still have hang-ups buying episodic content.)
I also got Mortal Kombat Unchained for my psp. It’s simply a re-tooled version of Deception. That’s alright as I thought Deception was one of the better MK games overall.
Welp,I’m at the end of my rope! I hope ya’ll have been okay and sorry if I came off as abandoning the community. Life has simply taken me in some unplanned directions as of late.
We miss you man! It's cool though, I understand. I also know your personal reasons for being involved in GG with what happened to your game and everything, and it's totally cool. I did mute you, which I hated to do, cause I like keeping up with you, but I've kind of put GG and stuff out of my eyesight. Sometimes I click on your page though and see what you're doin.
I hope real life has been treating you well lately too. And you're happy it's spring.
It's alright,Matt. I started to deal with a lot more online traffic so I figured some folks might mute me just so they wouldn't be bombarded with endless crap. lol. I'm still working with my art and writing primarily which hasn't changed. Game-wise I'll probably be playing RE REv 2's raid mode awhile just to unlock more lunacy! Good to hear from ya!
It's about time there's a blog from you. I don't do tweeter, so sorry I missed those. I went to your page on blogspot a few days ago. I didn't see anything new there, so I guess you don't use it anymore. I was planning to message you on xbl if I hadn't see a blog or message from you. If you had stayed away a little longer, you were going to get a "what's up" message from me this weekend. 
There are a couple GGs on this site in the open. I put up a "catch up" video on GG in a blog not long ago. I plan to post another. It's getting bad out there. It's not even about GG anymore. The problem has gotten so much bigger. Jazz hands!
I really wish it wasn't true but jeh,it's kinda bad out there. Also weird as I thought I'd never become at odds with "the left". (I used to proudly flaunt I was a democrat and a liberal but these days I simply tell people I'm an independent)
My big reasons for staying with GG is trying to push back censorship & encourage freedom of expression. I get tired of reviews slamming games for asinine opinionated reasons. (Some of which are entirely made up)
Actually there are deeper reasons James but relaying them all would take too much time. lol. Anyway, I'm glad I got to see you again,man!
It's good to hear from you! I really missed your blogs and art. I hope you get to stick around longer. I never did get into GamerGate, I was too busy having fun playing and reviewing games to mess with too much else!
That's what gamers technically should do,Cary. lol. Normally I'd be right there with ya on that but a few recent developments have me a tad worried and it goes beyond bad game reviews. However, I have hope things will balance out again!

To my knowledge Pixlbit is mostly "neutral" to GG and to be frank, I believe that's a good position to hold! I just felt more passionate about certain issues is all.

So great to see ya Ben, we've really missed you. As for GG, i'm mostly pro by now, although i'd rather keep a low profile. I think it's good if you do some blogs about it, since many here if not ignorant have the wrong ideas about the movement.

Meh. I don't do Twitter anyway, but I've been wondering what happened to you lately.
You're not missing much,Andrew. I mean I do have a steady flow of porn now.....beyond that twitter is "aight". I've made more good friends but in my opinion Pixlbit is an even better place to socialize. Aka, no character limit count and everyone gets their say out equally with their own blogs!
Don't sweat it, I have been lurking for months.lol As for gamergate its just another tenticle on the sad excuse for journalism that has taken over the media. Like I told jgusw, if I want an honest opinion about a game I will read a home brew reveiw by the likes of yourself or most of the folks I follow here at PB.
The gallaery is looking robust, lot of new stuff I have not seen before. And very good I might add. The poses are looking more relaxed and natural. It deffinately puts the fire under my butt to get some work done.
I'm still playing Destiny although a lot less. Been checking out some Telltale stuff and playing the new Borderlands. Its not quite on par with BL2, but its still a lot of fun.

That was my big draw to pixlbit, I know everyone here "really likes games" and doesn't see game journalism as just some rickety trojan-horse to shoe horn in more agendas. Everyone here should be proud pixlbit had integrity and ernestness even when that wasn't the popular route to take. If every site had been like this one gamergate wouldn't have even been needed in the first place. Sadly the world at large can be a real ass-hat sometimes!

People have made some surprisingly good stuff with rpg-maker,Knight! Once you learn the ins & outs it get easier!
Dwayne doesn't have horns,just spikey hair that's partly frozen sometimes towards the front. lol. He's sort of a combination of Sub-Zero and Saber-wolf,heh!

There was an article that revealed that a judge for some game awards ceremony confessed that he would actively vote against Bayonetta 2 if it were nominated, on the grounds of sexism. You can put out one of the most polished, sharp, put together games of the year, and these frauds, these glorified WordMess bloggers will not only dismiss it, but make an effort to make sure it doesn't receive its proper due. It didn't have the right 'message,' unlike Dragon Age.
In other news: yep, Revelations 2 is a surprise hit and the best thing done with Resident Evil since 4. Is Capcom learning?
The corruption runs pretty deep, Chris. It's even bad in the indie game community. Aka,if you know the "right people" you can get a crap game accolades but if you don't your game could be this best thing ever and still be obscure.
However,gamer-gate has accomplished a lot of good. Gawker is practically on life support. (And by extension Kotaku & Polygon aren't doing all that great either.) GG has also done a lot for charity & several more gamer friendly sites have spawned into existence or have gotten more exposure. (Such as niche gamer,tech-raptor,lewd gamer,and gnosh gamer)
Ignoring anything that has to do with Gamergate, anime porn, etc. But good to see you back.
