Greetings and salutations everyone! It has been such a long time since I have written anything on here. I cannot even recap what I have bought over the months lol. But I've just been busy with school and work. Unfortunately I was let go of my job because I was only hired as a seasonal and my final day was this past Sunday. To be honest, I am kind of glad I don't work at that store anymore because the management was just terrible. It sucks though to not make my own money to buy more video games haha but there's a reason for everything.
Even though I'm late to post, I hope everyone had a wonderful time during the holidays. I would asuume you all got a lot of gaming goodies during the past few months. I don't plan to write a huge list of stuff to recap the past few months. I'll just basically say whatever new game released, I most likely got it if the games involved the PS4 and Xbox One.
One major thing I would like to talk about is the fact that my girlfriend got me a Wii U for Christmas! I was just going crazy when I opened my present from her to see a picture of the Mario Kart 8 bundle Wii U. Of course after all the family dinner and quality time, I started up my Wii U and just played Mario Kart for hours. Surprisingly, a few days later I started to pick up more games for my Wii U. It was a heavy hit on my wallet. Especially after the holiday shopping.

I've put the Wii U aside for 3 years and it was time for me to get one. During Black Friday, I missed out on getting the Smash Bros/Splatoon Wii U bundle but the Mario Kart 8 bundle was in my radar for years. I didn't think I would invest so much time already into the system. Ah, brings back the good ol' Nintendo days when playing Mario Kart and Party with the family.

I just finished reading it. I will look into those games. I liked your opinion about Splatoon. I heard it was basically the CoD for kids. And you're right. For as long as I have been playing CoD, I have always gone in thinking I will get destroyed. I have my good and bad days playing the game but I know I'm just within the average range of players in the country. I'm not crazy MLG status. But with Splatoon, I actually had a lot of fun. Even when I did get blasted with paint, it was still fun to just paint the territory around me.
I finally got a XBO and PS4 this last holiday season. I'd still like a Wii-U. I think I'll get one when the next thing that I want comes out for it. I don't see anything coming the next few months though. I would love to play Pikmin 3. I should've bought the system when that came out. I was excited for it.
