Good morning Pixlpeeps! I am currently typing this blog on my mini laptop because I think my Macbook is currently being useless. At this point I am already shopping for a new laptop and 99.9999% sure it will be a PC. I love the Mac but after reading about the problems my MBP has I’m ready to jump ship. Yesterday I migrated my iTunes to the mini laptop (thank goodness I kept everything important on an external hard drive) so the move was painless. The only problem is that some of the album covers need to be downloaded again and for some reason maybe 500 songs couldn’t be moved (no idea why, but I have no idea what they are) I need to re-install Illustrator and Photoshop on the bigger laptop so I can at least get some work done there until I can finally purchase a new laptop.

As for the laptop I am currently looking at something that can run steam, while being on a budget. I want a nice screen, the hard drive isn’t a big deal because I will most likely have an external hard drive for music. I’m looking at this laptop the Dell 7559. It seems like a solid laptop, and other than the weight and not having a solid state drive, it should be just as good as my MBP. Of course I won’t get this for a while but if my tax return is decent I could possible get it soon.

The Challenge – MTV: The Challenge ended on Wednesday after a two-part episode, and the team I was rooting for came in third. This wasn’t as good as previous seasons, and most of the fireworks came afterwards during the reunion. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next version of the Challenge: Rivals III that will air in the summer.

Chris Listens To…

So during the move from the Macbook to the mini PC I had to sync my phone to the computer. For some reason it wouldn’t pick up one album I listened to, and rated. Not a big deal. I also noticed that I could sync my phone to both laptops, which is cool and I don’t lose any photos because those are all with iPhoto. Anyways going back to what I listened to last week I was at 13,759 un-listened to songs and at this point with everything synced I am at

13,515 tracks (sorry the image is small) This is before I added some new stuff.

Chris Takes Pictures…

Only a couple of shots this past week. The first one was at my cousin’s wedding. During the reception balloons were handed out to everyone on the dance floor to film some footage to celebrate the bride and groom. Afterwards I made this

My cousin’s 3-month old daughter decided to take my balloon dog and proceeded to drool on it. It was hers after that.

The next photo I took is of a ride of a tourist that was here in the area, causing all kinds of traffic delays, and blocked off streets.

Yeah it was cool seeing this bad boy again. This time they moved the plane towards the end of the runway and close enough for folks to go up to the airport fence and take pictures. The best part was that there was Secret Service and other security off to the side doing the same thing. I watched a couple of guys in suits whipping out phones and taking pictures.

Pickups!

Yeah so right before my MBP decided to flip me off, I thought I budgeted enough to where I could stop at the local mom and pop, and spend $10 on some CDs.

Wilco has been hit and miss for me but there have been some songs I really liked while other songs I’m indifferent to. This album is still sealed so I figured why not. As for Kelly Rowland, I believe this might be her debut as a solo artist. I’ll give it a listen.

I’m not a Sisqo fan but The Thong Song was so bad that it stuck with me so I bought it because of that one track. PM Dawn is for their single Set Adrift On Memory Bliss. It sampled Spandau Ballet’s True, and it was one of those songs I copied off the radio as a kid. I liked it more for the Spandau Ballet sample.

I added another Dane Cook album. I remember watching this on HBO or one of the cable channels awhile back. LeAnn Rimes because I like her voice and I’m trying to collect her discography.

Juice Newton because a couple of her songs I remember when I was growing up. Snow’s Greatest Hits because who knew he had other songs other than Informer?

I bought this album on iTunes after not being able to find the physical copy anywhere and I didn’t want to wait for the CD on Amazon (also why is it $20 on Amazon?) My friend and I were talking about Sia while watching Carpool Karaoke and I added this album to my Must buy CD list. Also Sia is on there.

I thought I was done collecting Hot Wheels but I saw this while walking around Target

Yeah I already own this model, but this version is gun metal. I had to buy it.

Alright Pixlpeeps, I am off to fix the missing album covers in my iTunes library because it is really bothering me. Have a good weekend!
