So this morning instead of digging through the minifigure bins I decided to go with another building block like figures for today’s picture of the day.
These are called Minimates and they are sold in packs of two. I really don’t collect Minimates but Toys R Us was blowing out a series of them and I think I paid maybe $1-2 per pack (normally they go for $8) and picked up a bunch of random sets. I believe most of them where from the X-Men: The First Class line, and Emma Frost is sitting because I have no idea where her foot is.
Currently Listening To: Sisqo – Unleash The Dragon (there’s a reason why I didn’t buy this album when it was released. It’s not good)
So last night I decided to give Lego Jurassic World a go and look for the final two gold blocks I was missing and it turns out they were hiding in the Mosasaurus Tank. One of the bricks was a pain because it involves some depth perception which was tough with the funky camera angles. After I’d say 10-15 minutes I finally finished it and got the 100% completion and the 10th Platinum Trophy.
Later on today I will uninstall Lego Jurassic World, and Grand Theft Auto V from the PS4 and install Mad Max and give that a spin. I’m on a roll of playing through my games and finishing the ones I want to pull off Mount Backlog
That’s all for now, more tomorrow!

aw, poor Emma Frost.
Yup, its now going to bug me for the rest of the day. Where did that foot go?
Lego Games.... that reminds me that I should probably pull out Dimensions at some point before I forget I own it.
Yep you have to play it! Also don't forget there are new figures coming out in the next month. Actually I should check if I ordered any of them and forgot.
I currently have the Doctor Who sets and want to get the Ghostbusters and Portal sets as well. The Midway Arcade set sounds awesome, but I don't actually know what to expect from it.
Dr. Who was a fun storyline. I don't watch the show so it was fun learning a little bit about that universe. I thought Ghostbusters was a bit underwhelming, but that's just me. Portal was fun too.
Mad Max is a fun one, I think you'll enjoy it.
Two hours in and I'm digging it.
Minimates huh? That Wolverine looks mighty angry and his partner there is strangely alluring.
Yeah I like the Minimates because they're taller than Lego minifigures and almost have the same head shape. Funny thing about the Wolverine figures is one is angry and the other is pissed off.
