Watched the first episode last night after finishing Better Call Saul. I'm pumped to see the decline of a marriage!
Just got done with Blake, Casey and I's Most Anticipated 2016 podcast for the Lower Level. I hosted this time, Blake's editing. I should work on some graphics for the show in preparation to teach my classes PhotoShop and InDesign.

Otherwise, I've just been either grading my students' video projects, which they got back yesterday (oh the shit-talking about me that ensued ... over a B ...) and playing a ton of Injustice: Gods Among Us: Ultimate Edition. In the grand scheme of things I think it's actually a somewhat mediocre fighter, but it's so jam-packed with content and easy to jump into that I'm addicted. I kind of want to read the comics now. It was a steal for $5, maybe $10 off PSN.
What have you been up to?
Grinding on FE Conquest and picking up Infinity characters. I want to start Child of Light on my Vita but, The Division comes out next week.
Child of Light looks cool, but I dunno if I'd enjoy the gameplay.
I really enjoyed the story aspects of Gods Among Us. I like the darker tone of the DC Universe. I just got Code Veronica X on PSN for like $5 and I'm loving it! I think I own most of the classic tank RE games on PSN now. RE 4-6 are going to be re-released on PS4, so here we go again!

I'll be looking forward to the podcast. I liked yours and Blakes conversations on games late last year and I would love to hear more from you two. Between your console games and his indie and PC games, it makes a nice mixed discussion. You still doing topics/themes around your shows?
Yup, this podcast's topic was most anticipated games. I honestly have no idea when the other two-three we recorded before will come out, if at all. One was Deadpool themed I think, so ... kinda late now.
Only RE game I own for PS4 is Revelations 2
Revelations 2 is quite fun. I enjoyed it a lot as its own seperate series.
Playing with my toys-to-life figures like a wee one. It's funny because I understand the technology, and it's no big deal, but I still get all giddy seeing my figures perform on the screen.
I kinda wish I had a similar hobby/collecting thing to keep me occupied. I used to know exactly which games I wanted. Now, I listen to other people too much. Think I'll go back to just buying whatever I fancy. Witcher III isn't sucking me in like it did apparently everyone else.
I have like two minds with gaming. One is all about co-op and the other is single player stuff. I've been putting in the time with the co-op stuff cus I have a friend to do that with, but I'm annoyed I can never find much time for the single player stuff. I'm going to preorder Ratchet & Clank, but how to find time for it. I don't know.
I loved Injustice, especially the story mode.
I'm not shocked they talked shit about a B. Thats freaking ridiculous though. Over a B??? Omgee, lol.
Yeah, it's hard with video projects because there are easy, 100% objective things to grade like how much time the video lasts and whether it has everything I asked for (SFX, number of cuts/shots, etc.), but that 25% for creativity and effectiveness is why I got second opinions from the GAs, and quite frankly there were some projects where I was the nice one and had to keep the GAs from dragging scores down (the B student I don't think was one of those, but it wasn't an A either).
Finished playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Director's Cut on Wii U last night. Sooooo pumped for the new game in August
Also got the Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS when it came out and beat the original Mega Man earlier today. Pretty tough!
Never played the Deus Ex games. I usually don't play, but know what the big games are, but those just never popped up on my radar until well after they came out.
Yeah, II was the easiest of the first III Mega Mans imo.
Just be glad you didn't buy the lauch vanilla version for $40. I actually liked the game that I even played the mobile versions (the end bosses are insanely difficult). Because of the game I started reading the comics about it.
I just started the first episode of HOC. I want to see how Frank gets out of this mess. If kids fought that hard for a B, they could have put that energy into their project and earned an A.
I'll probably finish HoC over the break. My spring break is next week.
I might start reading those comics too. $40 actually doesn't sound bad. The game looks like it's have a lot of content even without DLC.
You know thinking about it, I think the DLC for InJustice was just a bunch of different characters. I don't remember much difference from the gold version on the Vita, and my vanilla version on PS3.
From the trophies, there are also STAR Labs missions from DLC, but that probably just came with each character given how those are set up to be about specific characters.
I want to say Lobo, Scorpion, Batgirl, Martian Manhunter, Zod, and Zatana are the DLC characters cause it gave me the trophy for winning classic battle with everyone before I did it with them. Also they are the only ones not in ABC order on the character screen. Also, I just Wikipedia'd it to confirm I am right. I am right.
That sounds right. Lobo was also the first premium character you could earn in the mobile game
