Hey folks. Last weekend I went to PAX West in Seattle, and as promised, here are my articles about it over at GamerDad.com. I took lots of pictures and played lots of new games, so please check them out and maybe even post a comment or two here or there. I’d appreciate it, thanks!
In the first part of my articles, I check out games from bigger publishers like Nintendo, Namco, Capcom, SEGA, and Square-Enix. Wanna see a Chocobo car? Sure you do! So click on the link already!
Next I wrote about smaller games and publishers I checked out at the show. I also played a brand new Toe Jam & Earl game (yes, really), and I got to experience VR gaming for the very first time! You’ll definitely want to read my first impressions of it!
Finally, in the last part, I just put up pictures and things I couldn’t fit into any other category. I also posted a few more cosplay pictures as well.
Thanks for reading!
And those are my PAX articles! I hope you enjoyed reading them! Let me know if you have any questions or remarks in the comments section. My birthday is in a few days, and it’s a big one, so expect another blog about it by the end of next week! Later! --Cary
Fun! I'll check these out in a bit Cary! I hope u had a great time!
Yes, please! Thanks! I hope you get a chance to read the articles and let me know what you think!
Great articles Cary! It was like I was there too. So many interesting games coming out. How am I going to keep track of them all? Good to hear VR is doable for you. I want a ride in that Chocobo car!
I wanted to ride the Chocobo car, too. But If i did, I'd want to sing the Chocobo theme song the whole way! Doo! Do-do-do-do-do-do, doo, doo, doooo...
Of course. You'd have to. I would expect no less.
I'm sure that would make the driver and other passengers go nuts!
I'm surprised they didn't have a CD in the car stereo that would play nothing but Chocobo themes. Actually I guess it was a lot for them to have a "Kweh" sounding car horn!
You ever thought about what species Big Bird is? I bet he's a Chocobo!
Oh, it has a "kweh" horn? Cool!
Yes, that's how I first saw it on the street. I heard a strange sounding horn on the streets of Seattle, yet it was somewhat familiar, like a "Kweh, kweh." I turned around and there was the Chocobo Car!
Awesome articles. I loved the Pac Man suits, but wouldn't spend that much on one because I'd never find an excuse to wear it. And that was Resident Evil VII that they were promoting (Resident EVII, get it?). Glad you could play the VR games without any problems. I haven't even tried a VR game yet.
Actually I found where you order the Pac-Man suits online. A place called Opposuits. They're not as expensive as I thought they'd be, but they are still out of my price range right now, with my current job and all.
