Elvis Presley – Hawaiian Wedding Song (Live From Hawaii Version)
I couldn't find the Live from Hawaii version but this one is close. Elvis' version of this song is one of my favorite Elvis Presley songs because of how simple it is. It doesn't have that “Elvis Sound” from his commercial hits. Instead its just him, a piano, and backup singers. When he starts with “This is the moment...” its just him and then everyone comes in. It is a simple arrangement that unlike the movie version doesn't have parts in Hawaiian. It is a short sweet song that I could listen to on repeat.

Sky Drift – Steam
I saw a tweet about this game after the Super Bowl and when I watched the teaser video it looked like fun. Think a Mariokart Clone but with airplane racing. You race, collect powerups, and take out your opponent. When you win you can unlock new planes, skins, and achievements. There's basically all to this 7 World/28+ races. The controls are easy enough to jump into but unlike Mariokart you can have two power-ups and can be improved by collecting two of the same icons for a more powerful weapon. You can gain turbo by flying low to the ground, and using the right stick to make sharp turns.
So far I only played through World 1 with I believe four races and started the first race in World 2. I like it and the game seems like a steal for the price, around $2.
Rise of the Tomb Raider – Steam
I think I am on the push for the final three missions in the game, still wandering around just falling into the next mission. I do like the sneak up and take out enemies feature and when I finish this game I would like to roam around a bit and upgrade weapons.
Simpsons Tapped Out – iOS
Before I blew up my town to start a new layout I decided to give 90% of my town the same job and the picture above is the result. For my actual town I wanted a more planned out layout with a river so I can create a river walk. Also I forgot how annoying the game can be if you don't have a stylus. So far I am maybe finished almost half of my town and I am working from the back to the front but I fixed Springfield Heights to be the rich neighborhood.
Fire Emblem Heroes – iOS
I started this game I think on Friday afternoon just to give it a try and I like it. My little team isn't strong but I got through the first two worlds and I got my lunch handed to me in the third battle of the third world. I might have to do a bit of grinding. I like it because the game is simple, turn based stuff. I don't know the characters and the little chart on the corner of the screen on which characters can beat other characters is helpful. Because of this game I may try the 3DS version.
Also if you own Super Mario Run check in because of the release of Fire Emblem Heroes Nintendo is giving 2,222 coins.

I'm playing through Rise on PS4 now. So far, it feels like the 2013 reboot slightly prettied up (the reboot was already gorgeous, so that's not to knock it) and with a lot more content. I'm surprised by how many guns you start out with and there seem to be a lot more upgrades.
I'm also digging the Manor and Expedition extras in the 20th Anniversary Edition. For $30, this was a steal.
Yeah it feels just like the previous game, and I don't really use the guns as much as the last game. I'm either all in with the bow, or sneaking behind people. I should have waited a bit because I think I bought my copy when it was around $20+ and its just the base copy. I got excited during the Steam Summer Sale.
I just like how easy headshots are in both games, so I use the bow sneakily to save ammo. Half the time, I'm completely ignoring the main story so I can find the knick knacks and optional tombs.
And you still saved $10 more than me, so it's not like you got robbed comparatively. I love the manor being in there (maybe it is in the base copy? just not the Blood Ties story or Expedition mode? long shot), but if I had the option I'd have saved the $10 for just the main game.
Oh the headshots are easy in that game. I've roamed around in a couple of side caves and so far bears seem to be the ones that absorb the most bullets for me.
As for the rest of the game I really haven't explored the other features within the game, I just jumped into the story mode. I'd give the DLC a try but I'll wait for another Steam sale.
How is Rise? I really want to play it, but I've not tried these new TOmb Raiders.
The new Tomb Raiders lean more towards Uncharted with some of the action sequences, and now you craft weapons. It is a lot of fun but it isn't like the conventional Tomb Raider games. The puzzles are still there but now the game is more fluid with checkpoints disguised as campfires, and its more open world. If you get a chance give them a try.
is there a lot of gunplay? that kind of turned me off of Uncharted, like it seemed like you kill more people than cancer in those games...I'm more into the adventure aspect.
There is some. In some sections you can get by with the bow, but there are portions when you need a gun. There is a lot of adventure but you will run into some sections where you have to use a weapon.
I don't mind gunplay, it just felt a little repetitive in the Uncharted I played.
Matt, you know how gunplay really isn't y thing, right? Well, I love the reboot to pieces and am looking forward to getting Rise at some point in the near future.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is on my list to buy for my PS4.
Get it! It is a lot of fun.
So want to play the new Tomb Raider games.
You have to play them, they're good.
