I'm still playing INTO THE BREACH on PC, one of the best strategy games to ever release, ever! I sometimes go through a phase where I only want to play a particular type of game. I'm also replaying through Fire Emblem Awakening on 3DS and really want to replay XCOM, Resonance of Fate and that new Mario+Rabbids game on Switch. Into the Breach has it's hooks into me dangit! It's got mechs, monsters, its art style is isometric and GAMEBOY ADVANCED looking.
Have you tried Into the Breach?
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I've heard of Into the Breach, but I've never actually seen it in action. Is it like a RTS or something?
yes. Its a turn-based rts. It has small maps and feels more like chess matches, but with gundams and monsters.
I’m pretty sure I bought Into the Breach for the Switch, but I haven’t played it yet. It looks really good though.
what? its just sitting on switch? actually its a bit like crack for me, like stardew valley.
Yeah I’m gonna get my gamer license revoked for this.
I keep hearing about it. Some mentioned Advance Wars as a comparison and my heart skipped a beat. I soooo want to play it but I'm mostly a console player.
I started a strategy game the other day on Xbox Game Pass, Mutant Year Zero, that's like X-COM but with some free roaming and crafting. Battles are turn-based just like X-COM. I'm liking it so far.
Sounds interesting. Might have to check it out.
On windows and PS4 as well.
That game looks so good. I'm finally playing through Cave Story+ on my Switch. Been sitting on it for more than a year (I blame Breath of the Wild lol).
Robots and Monsters, what more do you need for a game that will suck you in?
