15 BaD days remain

Picked this up ages ago on PS4

FFF

I like the turn based battle system because it's not the traditional TB stuff. You can move around the field for a certain distance and your ability to attack depends on your proximity to the enemy or enemies you want to strike. Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits was sort of similar in that respect.

The dialogue is somewhat humourous too.

What I don't like is the same thing I don't like about most Strategy RPGs. Everything except battles and in this case the dungeon crawling, plays out in 2 dimensional talking heads overlayed on the screen. You have no idea how much that irritates me.

No walking around town, everything is chosen from a menu. Same shit as in Etrian Odyssey. Yep I've played quite a bit (but never finished) some of those games too.

... and don't get me started on what they did to Persona 3 on the PSP.

Anyway I digress. I still wound up engaged enough to play more.

You are getting sleepy, sleepy...

*Raises hand* I think I have an idea how much that irritates you. I like your panda.

LOL, I love that little guy. Looks like he's just about to keel but he's fighting it. Or that could just be the GIF.

Just replied to it. Your review pretty much nails it.

I can see how that can be jarring, going from free roaming to suddenly menu screens in town. It never really occurred to me while playing Etrian Odyssey until now.

I've seen this game many times on PSN sales and wondered if it's good. Sounds like...kind of. Gotta love those battle corsets!

yes, kind of about does it. I may go back and stick with it for a while because I do like the battle system.
