Deeper in the Lemurian labyrinth, I go.

eoEtrian Odyessy Nexus tried to fool me into believing they got rid of mapping. I had explored two rooms and a long corridor when the lady I had just rescued told me she had a map for me. I breathed a sigh of relief and got to drawing on the lower screen.

One giant Air Wolf down, I returned to the floating city. I reported to the Princess (another aspect of the previous game unavailable until this third mission) and was given my first serious mission to serve the greater interests of the city. I turned in my Pub Quest and first batch of monster parts, bought some new weapons made with them, and took a rest at the Inn, where a girl with a cat for a hat hosted.

Ah, all the pieces are in the right place now. Etrian Odyssey has truly begun.

Such chill games. There’s a real zen state to mapping the labyrinths.

The word "zen" is prominent in my life right now. Just got a Zen Monastery Cook Book.
