I definitely forgot to do this today, but I’m blaming that on being sick. I just tried Ashen for a few minutes and I can’t say it’s really grabbing my attention. I think that generally speaking, games that try to emulate other games rarely match the quality of the source material.

In this case, Ashen is heavily influenced by Dark Souls, but doesn’t feel anywhere near as good. I’d rather just play any of the Souls games again for the umpteenth time. Tomorrow I’ll try Forza Horizon 4, which should be a treat because I haven’t played a game in that series since Horizon 1.
