I'm on Dragon Roost Island in Zelda Wind Waker and got to the boss there, Gohma, and got stuck. I stopped playing but looked up the solution. I wasn't aware of certain things I could attach my rope to. So next time I'll beat it and continue.
I can't wait to get back on the water. I've got three different treasure maps to use.
That's one ugly motherfucker. I sort of remember getting stuck there too.
I kept trying to lasso its eye out but it wouldn't work. Apparently you have to lasso the dragon's tail first. I'm still not sure if I can reach that high.
A lot of times in Zelda games, especially the 3-D Zeldas, boss fights weren't that hard once you know the trick. They're more like puzzles than anything. But it's also why I usually looked forward to boss battles in Zelda games. They were fun to beat.
I can go for boss battles that are more like puzzles. Usually I dread them.
Hit his weak spot some multiple of three times, I always say.
Yeah, ha, there is a three in there. You have to drop the ceiling on it three times before you can really attack it.
It's such a beautiful game. Hope Nintendo does another cel shaded game like this. Doesn't have to be LoZ, but at least be open world of sorts.
I should try a Tales game again. I can get my cell-shaded RPG fix there, i think.
