I forgot to mention the other day I also played some Forza Horizon 4. I found they added a few things and went about doing them.
First was a new business on the main map. I went there and played the 10 challenges that open up a custom car shop that gives you cash on a daily basis based on your score. Each challenge tasked me with driving a modified car to a destination on the map as fast as I could. Pretty fun. I got two out of three stars on most of them (or was it 3 out of 4, I forget now)..
Second was trying out the new battle royale (Eliminator) mode. I was matched with about 30 players. I was then given a choice to start anywhere on the main map with a Cooper Mini. At random spots on the map I found car upgrades. Then I went after other players. I approached one and beeped. Suddenly a destination popped up and both of us raced for it. The loser was eliminated, and it went on like that with the rest of the players until only one was left. There was also a force field which closed in to make the map smaller over time so no one could hide for too long. It’s cool. I played it for a few rounds and didn’t get very far, always being outraced by someone who found a better car upgrade. I’m not big on such multiplayer fare, but it was fun to check out.
Huh. That battle Royale mode actually sounds pretty clever.
You would think it couldn't work for a racing game, but it kind of does the way they do it.
For the couple of races I did in Eliminator mode I thought it was fun.
Yeah, I liked it. I might try it again and see if I get lucky.
Man Forza added some modes that sound like a lot of fun. I want to call that Elimination Forza Fortnite.
With the force field that closes in on you, I thought of Pub-G, but maybe that happens in Fortnite too? I've yet to dabble in that game.
Yeah it does the same thing.
SO DID PHIL SPENCER!!
That's not true. I just wanted to yell
They should've given Mr. Caffein the job of head of Xbox.
