At one point Nintendo Power—back when print journalism was a thing—ran comics for some of their big franchises. My favorite, by far, is the Mario Adventures comic. It was just so much fun, especially when Luigi and Princess Toadstool (who was not yet known as Peach) swapped clothes to fool the koopalings. Such hijinks! And I love the art. The A Link to the Past comic was good as well, though of course much less silly. There have also been a bunch of high quality Zelda manga but I've read only the one for Ocarina of Time. I'd like to get more of them though. There is even a short Skyward Sword manga in the back of Hyrule Historia.

Well. I sure hope Link doesn't talk in these. Laughing

Well, he...he does. But it's good!

I have all of these actually, and they're so good! I wish Nintendo would release more of the comics they did in NP.

But were there any other worthwhile ones in NP? I guess I'd like to see that Super Metroid one. What else was there? Star Fox?

F-Zero, Super Metroid, Star Fox, and a Metroid Prime comic. I think they're all pretty good.

As an avid Nintendo Power reader as a kid, I remember all those comics.  There was also an interesting Super Metroid comic, too.

I'd buy that comic! I don't remember if there were any other interesting ones. There was a short Metroid Prime one I remember not being impressed with. I want to say there was one for Star Fox, maybe?

I got into comics through the Halo Graphic Novel. Thank you video games.

Love the green cover on the bottom one.

The Legendary Editions combine two of the normal Zelda manga books and look really snazzy. Definitely the way to go.
