Well. There was a Nintendo Direct today, and while it wasn't everything I could have wanted, it was interesting. First of all, I have to buy Ninja Gaiden AGAIN. Dammit. Incidentally, I think the Ninja Gaiden collection is coming to PC too.

And they announced Skyward Sword, which I was expecting eventually, but the addition of button controls for the former motion controls is something I only dreamed about. I hate motion controls, and I could never get past them in Skyward Sword (couldn't even get the bird to fly right), so I am THRILLED by this development.

Project Triangle looks great. I guess the "HD 2D" style is a thing now, huh? That's cool. I noticed the new Bravely Default was inspired by some of Octopath Traveler's style. I have no problem with that.

And Legend of Mana looks good. I never had a SNES, so I never played those games.

Well, I'm still hacking away at Wind Waker (I have the Master Sword now), DQ11, and FF7 Remake.

Legend of Mana was on PS1. Also the Ninja Gaiden games (well 1 and 2) are the Sigma versions.

I bought Ninja Gaiden for the original xbox. I bought Ninja Gaiden Black when it came out. I bought it for PS3. I bought for Vita. I think I even bought it for PS4. I am so ready to buy it for Switch. Tongue Out

There were some things in the Direct I liked, such as Mario Golf: Super Rush and Splatoon 3.  I also don't think Skyward Sword was that bad.  I didn't have problems with the motion controls myself, but I can't wait to try it with buttons to see if that works better.  The only thing I didn't like about the Direct is that they didn't talk about anything planned for the end of the year so I'm wondering what they're going to have for the holidays.

Oh, and Legend of Mana was actually a PSOne game, not on the SNES.  I never played it on the PSOne, so I may try it here.  Also might try that Famicom Detective Club game depending if it has a physical copy and the pricing.

I just watched a game trailer that had both a 3D world and a 2D one. I'm thinking it's cool now to have both in the same game. It's like having an NES mashed into a PSone.

The only time I have bought a game more than once is when my Steam copy is a pain to get to so I just get it on PS4 anyway.
