Hey everybody!  I just got back from McDonald’s and I got everyone Happy Meals!  Guess what the prize is inside?  Game reviews I’ve recently written at GamerDad.com!  Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it.  OK let’s begin!

Pokémon are back in McDonald’s Happy Meals, but this time it’s more of a focus on the card game.  I picked one up the other day so let’s see what’s inside.

In honor of the release of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, McDonald’s recently had Happy Meal toys based on the characters from the film.  I got a few of them, so let’s check them out!

It’s been a long time since I reviewed a mobile game!  But here’s a free to play one where you solve word challenges and it’s like a cross between Scrabble and a crossword puzzle.  You get points for solving them, and when you get enough, you can unlock a part of an outfit for a cartoon cat.  Catagrams is available on mobile devices but reviewed on iPad here.

Be a secret agent and uncover an alien conspiracy in Agent Fall.  It’s a 2D side scrolling retro styled run and gun for one or two players.

Do you like imaging designing your own market displays?  Or maybe you like creating shops in spinoff games like Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer or Happy Home Paradise.  Well now you can do that in Mini Market Design on Nintendo Switch.  It actually plays just like a game I reviewed a short while ago called My Cozy Room.

Help a mechanic escape a obstacle-laden, robot-filled scrap yard in Mechanita.  It’s a 2D platform game where the levels are hardly bigger than one screen, and you must use the robots’ abilities to help you pass the levels.

And lastly a couple of characters with weird names going on 2D adventures.  I don’t know if Popotinho is supposed to be an egg or a marshmallow or what, but one day while on an outing with his parents, Popotinho was misbehaving more than usual so his parents decided to punish him by leaving him alone and letting him find his way home.  Well dang, that was kind of hardcore for such a simple game.  But yeah, that’s what the in-game story says!  Anyway, guide your little egg dude through 50 stages of basic 2D platforming in Popotinho’s Adventures.

A bad guy has kidnapped Tsetseg the witch’s spooky friends (skeleton, ghost, pumpkin, etc.) and now it’s up to her to save them!  Tsetseg’s Adventure is an 8-bit styled 2D platformer.

And that’s all for now!  Thanks for reading my reviews and posting ‘likes’ and comments on them.  I do appreciate it.  Later!  --Cary

That Pokemon Happy Meal has cards, a game you can play and a poster with stickers? Wow. Elaborate.

Yeah but it's all just paper stuff so not as big as it sounds.

Man, I might have to check out Catagrams. I do like word puzzles and cats.

Catagrams is pretty good and it's free, so yeah, I recommend downloading it.
