In today's blog, The Original Ser finally posts again.

First off, Bullet Heaven.

So I did make it back from PAX East. The convention itself was kinda lackluster, but there was some cool stuff like Luftrausers and Hawken. It was really all about the people I met. And it's so weird... I had a pretty great time with them, we came home and then we realized that actually, we have no friends that we can hang out with in Canada. That sucks really freaking bad. I mean, I have a really good friend in Montreal, but he's two provinces over, about 1000 kilometers away. I can't just pop over and say, "Hey man, let's go grab a drink."
Getting caught up in Toronto not only on the way to Boston but on the way back as well was not what I'd call fun. I hate Pearson Airport with a fervor that is unmatched, especially now.
And my Jaguar... it's dead. I was told that a Master System or Genesis Model 1 adaptor could wrk with it, but when I tried, it started to smoke. So yeah, dead. Anyone want to sell me an Atari Jaguar? Let me know.
It has been one thing after another since shortly before I left, and the good, as good as it was, can't outweigh all the bad. It's got me really down. Everything seems to be piling on, and I just can't get ahead. Let's just say that... my motivation to do anything at all isn't exactly high these days. It's going to take way too much effort to turn things around. I'm too tired for it. I'm not sure when I'll get back to the daily blogging thing again but hopefully soon...
ah, don't let it get you down too much. Things will get better.
I definitely feel you on not being close enough to people. All my friends are either still at my Alma Mater, three hours away, working too often to see me very often at all, or off studying some other place far away. Y'know, I thought I wanted to get out of the college scene after graduating, and I like my job, but even that's fourty minutes away from me, as are most of the people working there; if I don't start getting called in a lot more often soon, and maybe even if that happens, I think it's time to go back.
I hope things start looking up for you soon, as well.
Video's good, I think I've seen that game a few times; either that, or a fighter that looked just like it Seanbaby played at some point. I disagree with calling "shit game" a subgenre though.
Nah I'm kidding, been so long since I played a new, mainstream one thanks to all my gaming tech being behind the times, I wouldn't know much either way.
Seanbaby played the Super Famicom fighting game on Broken Pixels once upon a time.
That was it.
Good to see you back, sorry you're feeling down. Hopefully, we here in Maine will get our shit together and get a boat running between Yarmouth and Portland again so you don't have to deal with TO. You could take the boat to Portland and then the bus to Boston. That is, assuming Yarmouth isn't too far from Halifax...
Hard to tell anyone to "Buck up,little camper" in the daily crapfest that is our world sometimes. I do hope things will turn for the better for you. Time is often the only remedy for some dilemmas I've been finding out lately.
I've always wanted to try out that seires but feared to due to the content. I even had missgivings about buying the game offered on PSN for PS1 import offerings.
I can't sell you a jag per say but I have a line on one over here in my neck of the woods. if all else fails I can see what it's going for. I doubt it's going anywhere.
I'd be interested. Let me know how much, and we can work out shipping and payment and such.
I'll let you know. I know of two systems avaiable but they are not core systems. they have controllers.
That's cool. I need a second controller anyway!
Is it weird this kind of reminds me of a flying version of Altered Beast? lol. That's the vibe the graphics give me.
