Games Beaten

-Death Mark

Death Mark obviously had a low budget (and the credits confirm the small team size) but I think the devs do a good job with what they had. Some locations get reused and the character graphics are pretty limited but the game has strong, spooky stories that can get very tense and the audio design supports them well. What you need to do could be unclear sometimes but failing doesn't set you back far and I always wanted to know how things resolved. I enjoyed it.

Games Bought

After the rush of the holidays, January was a slow acquisition month. The only game I bought (with money from Christmas, no less) was Digimon Survive (Switch), the recent visual-novel-with-strategic-battles game, which is supposedly quite good. I also grabbed Jedi: Fallen Order (PS4) from PS+. I've wanted to play this game ever since hearing it was made by the Titanfall 2 guys.

Games Being Played

I haven't started anything new since finishing Death Mark, so the only things I'm playing right now are my "always there" games, all on the Switch: Picross S Genesis & Master System Edition (usually in bed), Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, and Destiny 2 (the big yearly expansion drops at the end of this month).

I have to give Jedi Fallen Order another spin. I didn't know it was by Respawn, but it makes sense. All that wall running.

Yeah, and I got stuck in one area doing that last time I played it. Dummy me, I'll try again sometime.

I still need to play the rest of Jedi Fallen Order. Got stuck on some ball puzzle ages ago.

I do love Titanfall 2.

Yeah, Titanfall 2 is why I want to play Fallen Order. It's so good!
