I looked into what potentially could be the problem with my TV, but with little success. The general consensus I've gathered is that it's not worth it to have it fixed since it's so old, besides that money could be better used on a new TV anyway.

Got a bit farther in Bravely Default, beat a couple bosses, found some new jobs and I'm having a blast. The enemies that got sent to the town I'm trying to rebuild when I connected to the net are a lot higher level than I expected, but I don't think they're in any position to cause any damage to the town, if they're able to damage the town. I read the help entry regarding them and it didn't mention that they could, so I hope they don't.
