Looks great. I won't be getting it, but I think for newcomers it's looking like a great way to experience OoT. It's one of those games that you must play at least once in your life, specially if you're into action-adventure games with puzzle elements.

No, that's fair. I see Twilight Princess in the same vein as Ocarina of Time, but grander in scale.

I'll get the Ocarina remake and I'll enjoy it. But I was more excited about the Link's Awakening remake over this. But then, Link's Awakening is my favorite Zelda game.

One good thing is that I never played Ocarina of Time to death like many others have. I played it through when it first came out and replayed it again on the Collector's Disc you got with Wind Waker, but that's it. I never even got the 3DS version.

My favorite Ocarina of Time memory actually happened many years after the game was released. My younger cousin got a used N64 and the Ocarina game. She wasn't as much of a gamer as I am, but she LOVES horses. But she was a little too young to make much progress in the game. So one day when I was in Alabama visiting them in the summer, I spent the day with her playing Ocarina of Time and getting her to the part where she could freely ride the horse. She was so happy. A few months later when I came back to visit at Christmas, she was still playing the game but hadn't made any progress. She was just happy riding the horse around. To her, Ocarina of Time was just a horse riding simulator and she was perfectly fine with that.

I always felt like Twilight Princess was like a spiritual sequel to Ocarina. I mean, I know it's not, it just felt similar to me. Oh man, can you imagine a Majora's Mask Switch 2 remake? Of course, Majora isn't my favorite Zelda either.

Kind of a bummer that Nintendo didn't choose to do anything more with the game other than some really simple quality-of-life stuff. It looks gorgeous and seems to play much better overall, but I was hoping for a bit more out of this. The price will probably determine whether or not I pick this one up. Chances are it'll be $60-$70 and I don't know that I care enough to jump on at that price.

EDIT: Yup, that's the price, and so far, looks like there's no discount at Walmart or Amazon. $70 for this game is too much money for me. I want to want it, but at that price I'll pass. If I can find a discount on the cart at some point in the future, I will wait till then to grab it.

I would much rather that as well, but I think if they put adequate work into reimagining this, it could be really great. Guess we'll see soon enough!

Very little interest in this remake. I would rather see an OoT 2, kind of like how they did A Link Between Worlds.

Hmm, interesting! I think I got a PS+ copy of Split/Second but I never did try it.

That's why I work out first thing in the morning. When I get home from work, I'm absolutely wiped.

I just don't buy anything from the concessions anymore at movies. They've always been too expensive. Movies themselves are ridiculous, too. I only went to Coyote vs. ACME because I had free tickets and other movies I try to see on discount 6 dollar Tuesdays. And movies don't even stay in the theater long enough anymore! I miss the days when I would have three months or more to see a movie, and if I missed it I could catch it at the dollar movie, and if I missed that I could just rent it without having to worry about what subscription service it was on. A lot of things were better back then.

Yeah, I had a chance to get the DS version way back when but passed on it. Wish I hadn't.

I keep toying with the idea of joining the YMCA near me but I haven't because work tires me out so. I may start doing some simple situps and pushups in the morning though. It's good to stay fit.

I used to love watching MST3K in the wee hours after work years and years ago.

That Shaun the Sheep movie is out next week! I'm kind of mad at theaters right now though with their ridiculously inflated concessions prices. I mean, it used to be bad, but now it's stupid bad. I just won't go.

U3 is definitely good, even looks a tad better than U2, if that's possible. I just had no patience this time. There is a fair amount of the dreaded stealth in it.

I had fun putting stickers on everything in LBP.

I rarely buy any game over $20 unless I have some mad trade-in credit at one of my local stores.

I don't think I've ever seen a Castlevania lottery ticket, but last time I was at Round 1 Arcade, they had a Castlevania coin pusher. Konami also had a Power Pro Baseball coin pusher and a light gun game based on Contra.

Uncharted 3 was the pack-in game with my PS3 and I still haven't played it. I did play the first two, though, and particularly enjoyed the second one.

That must be the PS1 version, which isn't the best, but it does have the cool anime cut scenes. I imagine the DS version is quite pricey by now.

Yeah when you look at the big picture, I'm still pretty fortunate. I just get discouraged sometimes.

One good thing I have to say is that at age 50, I'm probably in the best shape of my life. There is a gym just two minutes from my house that I walk to every morning and workout for about ah hour. About a month ago I ran into my ex-girlfriend and she said, "Wow, you've gotten buff!" At work nearly every day I do get a a customer asking if I work out or they'll ask more ridiculous things like if I compete in bodybuilding competitions or if I used to be an American Gladiator. I don't think I'm THAT big, but it's nice to hear.

I did see the Coyote vs. ACME movie with my dad and some of my brothers. It was very good. I highly recommend seeing it if you can. the story on how it got to theaters is very interesting.

I never got into the Little Big Planet games, but my brother Jeff sure did! It was fun watching him play and make things.

I also watched him play BioShock! That's a scary game!

The Sonic Transformed racing game is also pretty good.

Right now I'm playing a demo for Final Fantasy Resonance. Man, Square-Enix is hitting it out of the park this yea with games that interest me.

That's kind of a steal for that game. I think it's highly sought after at the moment. I got a copy for review years ago and it's a "Not for Resale" version on a plain white disc, but it's the same version on the retail pressing. I do wonder what that's worth these days...

I've been eyeing Sea of Stars for a while now. I just saw Chrono Trigger in the PS3 store. I'm going to get that at $6, the cheapest version I've seen.

I saw 3D Dot Game Heroes at my shop but it was a little pricey, over $50 if I remember right.
