Kudos to you, good madam :-) I had a longer and more detailed comment, but Pixlbit was giving my computer fits for a while (sorry, guys), and I forgot it. Perhaps I'll think of it later...
I love both. So there :-P I'm also one of those rare odd ducks who likes both PCs and Macs (GASP!!!). In short: if there's a game I want to play and I have a machine that'll play it, I'm happy :-)
Wait...wasn't Quake 3 nothing BUT multiplayer? Never played it, so I dunno...
This is weird for me: I could've sworn you reviewed this already 0_0 Was that a psychic dream I had of the future? Hmm...
Whoah. I just had a flashback. I think this might be where I was first infected by "FUCK this game!" syndrome.
I think I just experienced a breakthrough. Thanks, Dr. Aboboisdaman!!!
This. I fucking love this XD Personally, I'm an optimist, but it's still funny ;-)
There's no F-ing way I would want Link to ever talk. I like a lot of the other ideas, though :-)
Haha
"The Salty Tongue" shop XD I love it! And the ghost of Heath Ledger part is just genius...
It's funny: I played through Ironsword but never this one. I couldn't finish Ironsword, because a girl I was interested in showed up at the door JUST when I was almost at the end. Naturally, I chose to abandon the game
I really agree with kilroy there. Still waiting for some kind of wireless adapter that lets you use your SNES controller with the Wii U...
This is one of those games that I saw ads and coverage for a loooong time ago and said, "MAN, I want to play that!"...and I never did, for whatever reason, lol.
Funny, those first two gameplay screens remind me a lot of the Batman NES game. I mean that in the best way, of course :-)
Good read, bud!
LOL, the Japanese version looks a bit phallic
WTF?!? That "anonymous" dude is supposed to be me. Why does Pixlbit keep kicking me off? Grr...
LOL, "feeling the 8-bit breeze on my cheek..." had me LMAO for a minute there.
I know this game sucks, but if I ever sell it at my shop, I won't warn anyone. Is that evil? I got to make some money somehow...
I've never finished a single Tomb Raider game :-/ Gonna have to do that someday...
How you liking them Hanafuda cards?
We shall see you upon your return, good sir!
Dunno why I said it like that, I just felt like it, heh...
What up, dude? Welcome welcome
I'll always remember this game as the game that stole Super Metroid's thunder :-/ It was a lot of fun, but Super Metroid deserved the top spot that year (and beyond, lol)...
You know, I think it was the music that kept me going when I wanted to give up on this game, lol. The pretty cool gameplay didn't hurt either ;-) But I eventually had to bust out the "you know what" to beat it...
This game fucked my shit up, for real :-/ It was fun for the ten minutes it lasted, though, lol...
I appreciate the remake, but I can't abide playing it for more than a few minutes before going right back to the NES version. The 8-bit music lover in me just can't stand being without it :-/
- Btw, I know how you can keep all of your items - except for the CD player - after you die. Do you want to know?
- I don't know if you're aware of this, but Nintendo discovered the microwavable hamster bit after the fact and had it removed. They were furious, lol. As a result, only the first batch of cartridges - about 150,000 I think - allow for it.
- Speaking of which, do you know what happens if you show the microwaved hamster to its owner? I can PM you on that if you want, hehe...
You should review Buster Busts Loose :-) Parts of it are a little irritating, but if you make it that far, the Star Wars level is totally worth it.
You're such a better player than I am, to think this game is easy, lol :-P Definitely beatable, though :-)
I frickin' LOVED it when Scrooge would get stuck in the snow XD Of course that did up the challenge a bit, which was cool in a way. You had to be careful who or what you pogo-jumped on.
Space ducks: gotta love 'em ;-) Reminds me of my favorite level in "Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!" for the SNES. They based a level on the episode that made fun of Star Wars (in a good way), lol. Duck Vader FTW!!!
Sorry I'm so late :-/ I frickin' LOVE this game, although I can honestly say I've never beaten it, even with the Wii VC's "save anywhere" type feature...
I remember doing a double-take when I got to the sauna in the game, lol. The great part about that area, though, was that there was a boss battle waiting for you outside (and yeah, the bosses give more money). You could fight them, heal with the sauna if you needed to, and fight them again for more money. Cha-CHING!!! :-D
