I loved Halo 4. I was disappointed with Halo 3: ODST and I didn't even bother with Halo: Reach, so I was really glad that Halo 4's campaign was so good. I couldn't put it down.
I bought the last two map packs for it on multi, but I haven't had a chance to get together with my friends and have a Halo night. I can't wait though, because the multi is also solid.
I know I'd buy it!
The weather is really looking up! I'm already seeing weeds growing near my lawn, haha. I'm going to have to start work on that soon, but it also means that I can spend some time outdoors soon!
Glad to hear you're back to work and enjoying it.
I love the colour in that forest screenshot. That game looks great!
The art-style on this game looks awesome.
Like.
I'll do my best to remain spoiler-free.
I have to say, Jill's Sandwich Adventure was a highlight, haha.
I have that exact Super Mario stand! I still use mine, too. It now has a much bigger, flat CRT on it, but it still has a NES and a SNES sitting in it just like it always did.
I have to get that GBA Version of FFV. I completely forgot about it and starting playing an English translation of the Super Famicom game instead.
Happy belated Easter. I hope it was a great day!
Hope you had a good Easter as well. I got to head home to my parent's place for the weekend spend it with family, so that was nice. Stuck at work today, though. I miss Easter Monday!
I ended up catching GI Joe this passed week instead, but it wasn't great. I think I'd rather see this. I haven't been hitting up enough movies so far this year, though, so I'll probably miss it. I already missed The Last Stand and A Good Day to Die Hard.
Oh man, Bat Boy? Seriously, I used to see that image on those National Enquirer mags when I was a kid and I've have nightmares for a week.
I'm blaming my sleeplessness on you, Celt.
All I have is a Dreamcast, one controller, one VMU and Resident Evil: Code Veronica, so you've got me beat, haha. I love that system, though. My next game will be Soul Reaver. I haven't played that game in years!
This was one of the few video games my sister and I played together a lot. When I first got my Playstation we played this game and PaRappa The Rapper a lot. I have great memories of this game, but I haven't even thought about it in years.
Thanks for the post!
Ahh, I decided to wait on this game and get the Wii U version, but that price is definitely tempting.
It'll probably go to PS4/Infinity (I think that's what they'll call the next Xbox, lol) and to the last-gen consoles as well. You're right, it looked pretty sharp in the those trailers.
I loved the show, too! In fact a friend of mine recently picked up a bunch of the old Duck Tales comics and we were going through those just before this announcement. Now i have Duck Tales on the brain!
Yeah, I think I inititally heard it was only on Wii U eShop, but it's coming out on XBLA and PSN as well.
Ah, sorry. I misread it! I've always wanted to try one of them out, myself, but I've never seen one. I remember when I was a kid I was so confused by the movie The Wizard, because they were clearly playing arcade machines, but the games were NES titles. It wasn't until I was an adult that I found out they were playing Playchoice-10s and what they were!
I watched some of the live GDC event yesterday with the announcement of MGSV and there was one thing I was confused about. At one point Kojima-san said something along the lines of "Ground Zeroes and The Phanton Pain are Metal Gear Solid V." So the two games come together as a whole?
It seemed like they did in the trailer somehow, but I wasn't sure.
What did you think of the new voice for Snake!?
I dunno if it's exactly the same thing, but I played an "interactive" novel game for the DS called Trace Memory that I really liked. It had a sequel I haven't yet played called Another Code: Twin Memories, which is the same play-style. It's a little more involved than a visual novel, puzzle-wise.
That sounded like a pretty awesome birthday to me! And a Playchoice-10 encounter to top it all off!
Happy belated.
Looking forward to it, gents!
