That does sound pretty cool! I'll have to stick this on the ol' wishlist.

Hey, those reviews got pretty not-spooky as we went. I'm on to you, Cary.

I finally finished something this week. That's a good feeling.

One of these days I will play through the Resistance series. I even have the two portable ones.

Oh dang, what happened to your PSP??

I've heard of Car Wars! Sounds like a fun game. It's just so hard to get into pen and paper stuff these days.

I've never touched the series and, honestly, I will be surprised if I get to it but the opportunity is there now!

I've heard that's a very good one!

My older brother played through this and I watched big chunks of the game that way...and that was good enough for me. My favorite memory of this game, though, is the cut scene where Fox first finds the sexy female fox trapped in a crystal (and I think her name was Crystal also?). He's entranced at the sight of her but then shakes his head and says, "Fox! What are you thinking!" Peppy immediately jumps on the comm and says, "Fox! What are you thinking!" That got a chuckle from me at the time but I'm sure not gonna play the game to see it again lol

My wife played Ni No Kuni when it was first new and when she got to the end of the game, she just could not beat it. Later we talked with a friend that also played it but he didn't have much trouble with the end. Turns out he had done all of the side content and my wife hadn't and the game really seemed to be balanced such that you have to do everything, and I think that kind of sucks.

Those Air Rider amiibo look so goooood!

The title "Super Woden Rally Edge" sounds like they were just throwing words together lol

We had some of those Tiger Electronics style LCD games in the '90s but we never spent much time with them, not with the caliber of games we had available to us by that time.

I played Demon's Souls back in the day without really understanding what it was like. So yeah, I got really frustrated with it and dropped it very angrily. Now with years and years of hindsight, I think I would do a better job engaging it on its own terms...but if I'm gonna play one of those games, it's gonna be Bloodborne.

Where I live we basically just have Galaxy Con come through once a year but it's a very broad, general geekery kind of thing. My wife and have gone a couple times (we got to meet David Tennant one year) but it's just so big and expensive. I'd love a more games-focused event.

Hmm, interesting! I think I got a PS+ copy of Split/Second but I never did try it.

Uncharted 3 was the pack-in game with my PS3 and I still haven't played it. I did play the first two, though, and particularly enjoyed the second one.

That's a cool lottery ticket! Not sure what franchise branding would get me to buy one. Maybe Castlevania?

Kaboomania may be a soulless Bomberman clone but that's a good title.

I didn't know they were making another Shaun the Sheep movie! That's exciting! Oh, and I assume you know about the Aardman Pokémon show in the works?

Happy birthday, Cary! Your pretend present is a Pac-Man alarm clock shaped liked our little hero—digital clock display in the mouth—that plays the Pac-Man intro jingle ad nauseam when it goes off.

That must be the PS1 version, which isn't the best, but it does have the cool anime cut scenes. I imagine the DS version is quite pricey by now.

That’s surprising that you don’t have any games to review right now. I’m on the fence about the Ocarina of Time remake. Depends how faithful it is, I guess. I’m less likely to get it if they just slap some nice graphics and mild quality of life improvements on it.

I feel like I did a decent job collecting some good PS3 exclusives and a bad job playing any of them lol. I'm surprised you didn't mention Alpha Protocol or Binary Domain (I don't remember if those are exclusives but I think of them as PS3 games). Also, from a gameplay standpoint, since you have the PS4 remasters, there is absolutely no need to get the PS3 version of Dragon's Crown unless you want to see it sitting on your shelf. That was a great remaster.

Don't forget about Tokyo Jungle!

My gosh, that is a lot! I have not heard of Shank 2 but I do love a good Contra-like. I have always been low-key on the lookout for Dawn of Discovery on the Wii. It's not usually my kind of game and I've been "on the lookout" for so many years now that I don't remember what caught my attention in the first place lol but I didn't know there was a DS version. The DS would be a great fit for that kind of game.

EDF 2025 is the only other one I've played but I LOVE that World Brothers gives you a squad of four to freely switch between. I love being able to quickly switch between a character with great mobility, heavy firepower, homing weapons, or strong melee. It's hard to imagine going back to being stuck with a single character after this.

I have heard great things about both of those games! I'm curious if Raiders will click with you. I know shooters aren't your usual wheelhouse.

If you ever get it on Switch, I will definitely buy it!

I could never get into these kinds of games but it's cool that you have all (or nearly all) of the things for this game. Do these figures and items work for all the games in the series?

Despite the weak gameplay, I think I would enjoy Geppy X just for how hard it commits to the bit. I'll stick it in the ol' wishlist and wait for a sale.

Wow, it really nails that PS1 look!
